We had so much fun again this year and all the hard work paid off. We had karaoke and TJ's Mom did the games for the kids. Everyone looked great and the food was yummy! Thanks to all who attended and helped we sure appreciated it! We had over a hundred people attend this year and look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Kids Class Parties!
Brielle had her Trunk r Treat Thursday and all the trunks looked really spooky! She was so fun if she didn't like the treat she would say "Mmmmmmmm I don't like this, no thanks!" At least she said no thanks right? The teachers made "spider soup" and they made treat bags and we sang some fun Halloween songs. Hunter had his Halloween parade and looked so cool in his words. He wanted to wear his Ghost Rider costume at school and his Batman trick r treating. He was so cute parading around with his Lil smirk. For the class party we had pumpkin bowling and the pumpkins barely made it out alive! We also had spider ring toss and made mini Carmel apples. They also made treat bags and received a few goodies.

Pumpkin Carving!
We carved pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa Bentley's tonight and they look spooky! I put Sophie in the pumpkin to get a cute picture and she didn't like it at all, hopefully TJs mom got a better shot I was trying to make her smile! Should've known better than to try it right before bedtime. And Jena (TJ's sis) cute his extensions! They are so gross it seriously sicks me out looking at him with them! ewwwwww! All for the costume stay tuned!!!

Sophie and Hunter
Sophie loves Hunter and while watching Brielle dance kept grabbing, kissing, and hugging him. When she was in my tummy Hunter's voice was the only one she would hear and move around really fast, and even now when she hears him or TJ she looks around and gets excited! Hunter is such a loving big brother and yes he does have his moments when he bugs her and ticks her off but most the time she just loves him!
Homemade Tombstones
I had some kids in our neighborhood over for a pizza party Monday and then we made tombstones out of cardboard. It was really cute seeing them trying to figure out how to do it and the difference in all of them. They didn't dry fast enough so the next day we finished them. They turned out cute, we still have a few to finish but here's a pic so you get the idea!

Brielle's Dance Party!
Brielle's dance class performed what they have been learning for the parents in their Halloween costumes and it was adorable! Brielle is such a firecracker and it was hilarious watching all the little girls. Now I know why the parents have to sit out in the hall and watch on a t.v. Brielle was constantly waving and showing off.

First Halloween Party!
HSM3!!!!!!
We took the kids along with TJ's family to see High School Musical 3 and it was FANTASTIC!!!! I love those movies, seriously I know it might be strange for someone other than a kid to like it but I love the music and dancing and it's just fun! I have fun dancing around with the kids singing these songs. I highly recommend this movie if you liked the other one's.

Three Billy Goats Gruff
I read to Hunter's class today and had a blast! I had to read Three Billy Goats Gruff and do an activity. Try finding an activity for that book, I guess it would have been easy but I didn't want to do the usual coloring page or puzzle. I found these cute toilet paper tube goats and decided that would be fun and somewhat easy. But where would I get 20 TP tubes? That's when I called on all my family and friends! Thanks to all that donated and this is what we did with them! The kids loved it and it was interesting to see the difference in all the kids abilities! They were so funny. And a big shout out to Kindergarten teachers, I don't know how they do it everyday! One girl kept hugging me and telling me she loved me, one kid couldn't cut out the goat, another had a very vibrant one, they all were hilarious to watch while making these. I am so lucky to have such a hard working husband so I can have the time to volunteer at my kids schools. I thought when I had Hunter and Brielle both going to school I would have more time to get things done but it's the opposite. Between running them to and from school, volunteering, and getting things ready for events and school parties I am so much more busy. It's my own fault for signing up to do it all but I love it and it gives me a chance to be there at their school's and I think that is very important. I always loved seeing my mom and neighbors at school and it's cute to see how excited they are to see you!

Crazy Hair Day!
Today is crazy hair day at Hunter's school so we did a Mohawk. I took a picture with my camera phone and Hunter asked if I could send it to dad and grandma and grandpa. I told him I would and then he said he wished I could send it to his angels in heaven. He is such a thoughtful sweet boy sometimes and it made me laugh picturing sending picture mail to heaven. Then I had to take his friend to school and they both hurried out the door and start walking away when Hunter turns around and opens the door and climbs in to give me a kiss and tell me he loves me and to have fun with the girls. For him to remember our morning ritual made me really happy. It's moments like this that make me really happy to be able to be home with them and cherish these special moments. It makes those really hard times worth it and believe me we have plenty of hard times in this house!

Crazy!
So I totally purged my closet today! Yes!!! I was switching my fall and summer wardrobe around (don't ask me why it still gets to the high 80s) and got rid of two HUGE garbage bags chuck full of clothes!!! This is big! I'm not one to hold on to a ton of stuff but somethings just get pushed back and placed in storage. I went through everything I owned and I had jeans from Jr High! I know I will NEVER fit into those again. Here is another confession, I would "borrow" guys hoodies in High School and racked up quite a collection. I got rid of some here and there while moving place to place but still had a few and I finally said goodbye to those memories! So I feel really good but I might regret it in the morning. Here is my side of the closet all nice and orderly, do you think it can stay that way for long? I should've done a before and after dang maybe next year.

Maui Souvenirs!
Weekend Fun!
We had a busy weekend doing all the fun fall things we love. Friday we went to the park and the kids had a sleepover at Grandpa and Grandma Wach's while I had the chance to go to the library and get some much needed rest! TJ rocked the house and had his first busy weekend serving and brought home some great tips! He is starting to serve one night on the weekends to get some extra cash. And is doing really well, he can do anything I swear! Saturday we went to Grandma Kathy's and glazed pumpkins and had a yummy lunch with a bunch of family that came down for UEA weekend. The kids enjoyed playing with all their cousins. Then we took Grandma and Grandpa Wach to Stahlei Farm. We do this every year and the kids get their pumpkins at the pumpkin patch and run around looking at all the animals and fun games. They had a mini corn maze for the kids and of course the crazy cow train that flung mud everywhere and got Brielle really dirty! It was pretty hot but we enjoyed hanging around the farm. Sunday we drove around the hills looking for chuckers and then headed to TJ's parent for our yummy Sunday dinner. We had a great weekend!

Date night!
My sweet hubby planned our first date alone since Sophie was born and we had a great time! He told me last week not to plan anything and that his Mom was watching all the kids. I was so excited, we hardly ever get a chance to go out alone. We went to Player's and ate and I must say I was really disappointed in the food and the atmosphere wasn't that great but it was fun, and we didn't mind since we had a gift certificate. Then we went to Tuacahn and saw Big River, it was awesome! It was the story of Huckleberry Finn, I love Tuacahn the setting is beautiful and the talent is remarkable. Oddly enough we sat next to our Vet Dr. Houston, we love him and he is hilarious. At intermission I looked at him and was like you look familiar like a Dr. or someone we have gone to, and low and behold it was our Vet! I told him he looked different with this clothes on and immediately realized what I just said and got so red in the face! His wife started laughing and said they get that a lot. He usually is in his Dr's jacket. We had a great time chatting with him and his cute wife. The weather was great we just had jackets on and it was perfect. My favorite part was they had the mississippi river flowing on stage it was awesome! I wish you could take pictures because it was amazing! Thanks for the great night Monkey, I sure do love ya! And thanks Mom for watching the kids even though Sophie isn't feeling well and Brielle was on the potty all night! :)
