Oh Christmas Tree...

It is our family tradition to go cut down a tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving and we decided to try somewhere new this year. We usually go up to Pinevalley and get our "christmas bush" since they don't look like real Christmas tree's lol! So this year we went up to Cedar City and there were real tree's!!!! We didn't expect snow up there since the last couple of years it has been fairly warm, the kids were a little cold but they thought it was really fun and they loved eatin snow and making snowballs. It was so pretty up there with the red rocks, white snow, and green tree's! We came home and decorated the house and listened to Christmas music. It was a great day!

Twilight!!!

Last week we had a great Girls Night Out and went and saw the movie all us girls have been waiting for! I feel like I was the last one to see it since I heard of a ton of people already seeing it three or more times! We went to Don Padros for dinner and then headed to the movie and were the first ones in line. I have to say a loved it!!! There were a few cheesy parts like the body glitter and flying but for a low budget film I think they did really great! I am so excited they have a bigger budget for the next one though! The characters were all pretty close to what I had imagined and I loved the chemistry and it really followed the book well. I felt like I was back in high school it was hilarious and so much fun! I can't wait to go see it again!

Black Friday!

This was my first Black Friday shopping experience and I have to say I barely survived!!! I don't like waking up early and I get really claustrophobic but, TJ loves movies and is obsessed with his surround sound system, and has been wanting a blu-ray dvd player for quite sometime now but they are ridiculously expensive. So when I saw the low unbeatable price in the ad's I knew I had to get it no matter what it took! Thursday night our outlet mall started their sale at 11:00 pm so I left the house at 10:00 pm and found some great deals at Children's Place and Downeast and left with my arms full around 1:00 am, I wasn't tired so I went to Walmart to see where they were putting the dvds. I got home around 2:00 am and Sophie woke up and was wide awake so I took her in the family room and laid down on the floor next to her while she played. My alarm went off at 4:00 am and I was off! When I got there, 8 people were already there waiting for it and there was only 25! I seriously was sick to my stomach the whole hour before it opened. We had about 15 minutes left at one point and we watched this older lady walk right up to the display look at it and take it. She waddled down the shoe aisle and was hiding. About 5 minutes later a store clerk but one back and yelled at everyone to wait until the ropes went down. So naturally was all were making fun the the old yellow coat lady until I look up and she is hiding in the next aisle. She takes her bright coat off and ties it around her waist and moves towards the display. A group of guys across from me continue to make fun of her and say they don't care if they get one just as long as she doesn't! I start laughing and say she is right across from me. It was hilarious! Just then my mother in law got there to get some things for other people and said she would go down to the toy area to get the lego castle I wanted to get Hunter. Just then the ropes went down and I ran five steps and was on top of ten people and finally dove under their legs and got the last one! I was laying on it holding on tight as people were trying to grab it from me. My nails broke off and I look over and see a lady crying on the floor fighting over another one saying she was pregnant (liar). Finally everyone backed off and I stood up holding my prize possession! My Mother in law got attacked by falling displays and tons of people pushing through, she is such a trooper! We finally made it out alive and hour later! So TJ better appreciate his gift or I will seriously cry! The things we do to save money! TJ doesn't even know how to read his email without my help so I know he never reads our blog on his own so don't tell him what I got him! Just tell him his wife must really love him!

Here is proof my nails were digging so hard holding onto the box!

Gobble Gobble!

Thanksgiving was really quiet this year. This is the first time in ten years I haven't had two Thanksgiving dinners. We usually go to TJ's Grandma and Grandpa Cannon's and then my parents but this year my parents went to Montana to be with my sister. I was a little sad not to be able to be with them and I really wish we could have gone up there but it is always really busy at Pizza Factory after Thanksgiving so TJ couldn't get it off. We did go to Grandma's and it was really good. We all ate too much and Sophie loved tasting everything especially Grandpa Bentley's Coconut pie! After stuffing our face and checkin out the ads we took the kids looking for toys and headed home. The rest of the night we lounged around watching movies, playing games, and reading books by the fire since it was too cold and rainy to play outside. Here are few things we all said we were thankful for...
Hunter: My Mom, Dad, sisters, Grandma and Grandpa's, Auggie, Carter, Christopher, Jake, Brady, his cousins, lego's, noodles, and then sun.
Brielle: basically everthing Hunter said plus, lunch, shoes, babies, her bike, and gum
TJ and I agreed we are thankful for so many things, we really are blessed with such a good life. We have each other and three healthy beautiful kids, a fun supportive family, friends that are so much more than friends they are family, and most importantly love all around us.

MWC CHAMPS!!!

Hunter, Sophie and I went up to the Utah vs Byu game and had the time of our life! My Dad has had season tickets to the U for ten years now and it has been a tradition for Hunter and I to go to the game against Byu. This year I left Brielle home with TJ and his Mom since he had to work, I wanted Hunter and I to be able to really enjoy each other's company. So thanks! Brielle had a blast and didn't feel left out at all! We left Friday after school and went to dinner at Red Robin with some of my friends that I miss so much and then Saturday spent the whole day partying Ute style!! We went and bought some new Utes gear and Hunter did some fun activities at the tailgate party! The game was AMAZING!!! The kids were perfect! Sophie slept through 1st and 3rd Quarter and learned how to cheer really loud! I mean REALLY loud! After the Utes creamed the Cougars we went to my Cousin Carly's wedding at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and saw my Mom's side the the family. We looked pretty funny showing up in our Ute gear and looked pretty scary but oh well! We kinda got a five generation picture. I treasure these memories year after year and it really doesn't matter who win's (but of course it makes it that much better when we do!!) we have so much fun together!! Thanks Mom and Dad we had so much fun and Hunter still says its the best day ever! GO UTES GO!!!! Sorry the picture are not in order I don't know why it wouldn't work!

Houdini

Sophie is getting into everything she can reach really reach! She has been tearing off her little tray on her bumbo seat and throwing it and then reaches around to get things! I think it's time to move her to the high chair!

GO GREEN!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know I LOVE (I know I say that a lot but I do!!!) the reusable bags!! They are only $1 a bag and you get money back for using them!!! Plus the best part they fit sooooooo much stuff in them!! I came home with two full bags that would've been ten plastic bags! Much easier to carry two and a baby instead of ten and a baby! Here are some pictures to prove you can fit a ton of stuff in them!!

Soccer Finale!

Hunter had his last soccer game and all I can say is WOW!! They played a tough team and did really well! The first half he didn't score any goals and got a bit emotional (he has such strong emotions it's so sad to see him get so worked up.) But the second half kicked a long hard goal and then last second of the game scored a tough goal and won the game!!! The team won all but one game and that game was a tie! We are so proud of him! He has such a talent and is so dedicated!! I am also proud of my cute hubby, he is the best coach ever and I am not being biased! He works so hard and doesn't have a lot of time to himself, still he worked around his schedule to be able to attend all the games and practices. The bond between him and Hunter as grown so much these last few weeks he is Hunter's idol. We had a pizza party at our house after and gave out their trophies and some goodies. We are going to miss watching these little guys but hopefully they will all be back together in the spring! GO KILLER BEE'S!!!!

Sophie's first sleepover!

I don't know how parents know when you've had a hard week but, my parents offered to take ALL three kids for the first time Friday night for a sleepover! Sophie has never slept over anywhere before and did great (so I hear!) My parent's are so great at asking to take the kids and always having something fun to do! It's nice after working hard all week and driving five hours they still want to take them! I know they are a handful! They took Hunter and Brielle to Madagascar 2 and then picked up Sophie. THANKS for the rest love ya!

Flag Football

TJ started playing football with some of his co-workers on a Pizza Factory team and we all went and watched his first game. Brielle was so cute cheering GO UTES ummmmm PIZZA FACTORY!!! Every time he caught the ball or got another guys flag they would yell GO DADDY!! Which is pretty funny since he is playing with a bunch of single kids. And at the end of the game they ran onto the field and said GOOD JOB DADDY YOU PLAYED GREAT! It was pretty cold but we all went to McDonalds after and warmed up!
