Kite Festival

Every year our electric company holds a kite festival, a few months before they hand out reading charts to the school kids and if they read at least 50 minutes a week for around 2 months they get a kite or a book! My friend Holly and her cute family are in town and we were able to hang out in the hot weather for awhile. The kids played games and ate snowies and cotton candy, and then we tried to fly our kites with no success, the wind wasn't blowing at all! So we walked around to all the boths and called it a day! The kids were excited we got to ride a bus to and from the car lot!
