Brielle is 5

I can't believe my little girl is 5! It seems like yesterday we were in the hospital while tons of wildfires surrounded our city. We always tell Brielle she was born in a burning ring of fire, and her personality fits it too! You can't help but love this sassy little thing! She is so smart, too smart for her own good! She definitely is the child that pushes my buttons the most and daily, but she is also the funniest little thing! Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me scream and then laugh so hard I cry! Even though she is stubborn and sassy I admire her attitude, she doesn't do anything she doesn't want to and doesn't let anyone tell her what to do. I keep telling myself the traits that drive me crazy are positive ones when she is older! Maybe because she reminds me of me a little too :) She has a big heart for those she loves and is such a mother hen to all her little cousins, you can count on her to help out. She loves being the center of attention and as long as she is queen everything runs smoothly lol. We sure love you Brielle and we are so glad you are apart of our family!
We opened presents before heading to her family party, she was so funny laying out all her new school clothes she got, and then the last present she opened was a helmet she picked out. She looked at it and we asked her what would go with it and she grined and went looking for her bike. We watched her ride it for a minute and then TJ got on and did a wheelie and popped the tire and bent the rim! She yelled out "MY BIKE!!!" He took it back and got a new one so all is good! It was the funniest thing though!




We had a family swimming BBQ and she loved every minute of it! We are so lucky to have such a caring family, it is always crazy and loud but so much fun! There are so many of us it always seems to be someones birthday or something but no matter what everyone is always there! Thank you so much to all of you for making Brielle feel so loved! Brielle's Auntie Katherine made her darling cake! I laughed when Brielle told her she wanted a mermaid cake and was wondering how she would pull that off but she did and it was amazing, thanks Kat! We love you!
