Swiss Days
Wow what a day! We started off with Hunter's soccer game and he scored 4 goals! Go Hunter! He is such an awesome lil guy and so much fun to watch. You can see his little brain working on getting that ball in the goal. So cute! Then we took my parents to the new park I found to find out they already have been there. We had fun feeding the ducks and then went to get TJ from his radio contest thing, in which he won a free pizza from Dominoes! I know Dominoes pizza for the pizza guy. My parents got grandpa to come to Swiss days and we had a yummy lunch and watched the kids play games. It was really funny we met up with them and I see a Byu hat and a Utah hat and it was my dad and grandpa. Im sure we got some strange looks. We all had such a good time but it was a little hot, it's still in the high 90s here. The worst part was we get in the Jeep to go home and my battery died again so an hour later, two jump attempts, and some weird high school kid trying to help and saying something like it's all about service, my dad brought a new battery and we were off.

Family Night Fun!
I took the kids to the Don't waste Dixie kick off week at the town square tonight and we learned all about the new recycling program our city is starting. There are binnies all around town where you can drop off glass, paper, metal, and plastic. The kids were able to put their handprints on the new recycling truck. But Brielle didn't because she didn't like the color green, so Hunter was the only one to put his stamp on recycling. Go to www.wcsw.org if you are interesting in recycling, I think if all of us do at least one thing whether it be collecting our soda cans, newspapers, glass bottles, whatever we can make a big difference. 70% of waste is reusable!! Crazy! We also went to the Spring Park and fed the ducks with our friends the Hansens. The bread went pretty fast with five kids but they had fun.

Round Up Rodeo!
We go to the rodeo every year for kid day (kids are free.) TJ's dad takes all the grandkids and we love going so we tag along, plus there are too many kids for him to keep track of now. We have fun eating sno cones, nachos, and of course cotton candy, and watching all the horses and our favorite the bull riders. This year we saw a guy flip in the air by a bull it was pretty cool (oh you all know you enjoy seeing other people's pain!) And I won 4 tickets on the radio! TJ called me that morning and told me to call a number and I asked who I was calling and he told me they were giving away tickets, and I won! My first win yeah!

My lil social bug
A couple of days ago Hunter was sitting at the counter working on homework and asked me what our phone number was. I told him and made a mental note to sit down with him and help him remember it, he's my first child it didn't hit me that he should know that by now! So the next day I see a whole bunch of orange post-it's in his backpack but thought nothing of it since he is always drawing something and sticking it in there. Well, that afternoon a mom that lives in the neighborhood said her son handed her an orange post it and said his new best friend wants him to call him to play. She could read Hunter B but all the numbers were not in order so she looked it up in our directory. I just laughed, he must have passed them around to the whole class! And the only reason she knew it was my Hunter was because we live in the same neighborhood. I am sure there are mom's out there going who is Hunter B! He made a new friend and had fun playing and everyday he comes home from school he asks if someone called for him so he can play. It's amazing how much they grow up and branch out. Hunter I am so proud of you for making new friends and realizing each friend is different and unique. I love you!

Pinevalley Fun!
We really enjoy going to Pinevalley and decided it would be fun to take my parents up there for the day. We made yummy tin foil dinners, dutch oven potatoes and peach cobbler, and enjoyed the cooler weather and just hanging out together. We rode around and found some miniature horses to feed apples to, which was Brielle's favorite. She is just like Grandma Leslie and loves horses. Hunter rode his motorcycle all by himself and got his first tiny knee scrap, he had it in the wrong gear and tried to take off but TJ grabbed the bike and Hunter fell down, nothing serious thankfully. Dad mowed the entire property and got a blister, but he enjoys yard work so he had fun. Sophie hardly slept at all she didn't want to miss out on anything going on. Mom and I just played with the kids and a new found friend Noodle the Poodle, it kept coming back and playing with us all day. Brielle took my camera and got some fun pictures, I think she's found her calling. Thanks for coming with us mom and dad, it was nice to get away for the day!

Boys and their toys.
TJ took Hunter out and taught him how to shoot a 22 cal. Ruger Rifle for the first time. TJ said he was a natural and they had a lot of fun together. Don't worry before heading out he received the gun safety lesson about a hundred times. Hunter said he can't wait until he's old enough to go hunting with his dad and grandpa and shoot himself a huge Bambi. Don't mind my scruffy hubby he's getting ready for hunting season and I am praying his boss makes him shave it soon! lol!

Sophie Month 5
Wow time flies when your changing diapers! Sophie is five months old and weighs 16.5lbs, yea she is not starving at all! I just started her on two feedings of rice cereal to give me a little bit of a break and she only likes the banana kind, not that I blame her. She has found out the whole toys thing and really loves this double sided rattle, she just shakes it like crazy so I always sing "Shake shake shake, shake shake shake, shake your booty whoa! Shake your booty whoa! She'll just laugh and laugh and shake even harder. She can also do mini push-ups and has also and has found her voice. She is always squealing and talking. She can sit up by herself for a minute and rolls both ways when her mean mom makes her. She is perfectly content in laying on her back in one spot. Which is great for me! We all love her so much she is so loved maybe a little too much if ya know what I mean! The pictures of her in the orangish color sleeper was TJ's pj's when he was little, well all of his brothers and sisters have worn it. So it has gone through 5 kids now! I just love the holes in the toes and the one pom pom that's hanging by a thread! The first picture is TJ when he was just a couple months old. They look so much alike. And the last picture I just made Sophie's binky BLING what do ya think? I know my mom will like it!

Millions of Peaches, Peaches for me....
My awesome mother in law taught me how to can peaches and it was so much fun!! I went over to her house while Hunter and Brielle were at school and made 24 pints! It was so easy just a bit messy. Sophie didn't like the fact I was doing something else during our special time alone so I put her in the sling and peeled away. Thanks mom for taking the time to show me how, this will defiantly be a yearly thing they are so yummy! I also made some delish pie's the recipe in on my recipe blog if ya want it. WWW.YUMMYFINDS.BLOGSPOT.COM I put some of our favs on there from time to time.

Happy Grandparent's Day!
It's officially Grandparent's day (yes I am up at 1am, I am in my no sleep stage again and cannot read another page or do another leg lift so blogging it is!) I am seriously the biggest nerd and admitting it is the first step right? I love holidays and celebrating anything so it's only fitting I celebrate all the wonderful grandparents. My kids have the best grandparents in the world. Hunter always says he has tons of grandma's and grandpa's that love him and its true! Thank you for spending so much time with them, supporting all their many events, and teaching them so many different lessons. Thanks Grandma and Papa Wach for driving 5 hours after a long day at work to come down and visit us over the weekends, we appreciate and cherish the fun times we have. The kids enjoy their sleepovers and donuts and chocolate milk at Harmon's in the mornings. Like you always say you can tell what people value by what they spend their time on and well, it's obvious you adore your grandkids and they adore you!! And thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Bentley. we are so lucky to have you live just a few miles away from us. We appreciate the yummy Sunday dinner's and thank you for always coming to all the kid's events whether its a school program, soccer game, and one of our many parties, thanks for always supporting our adventures! Thanks to Gramma Dawn who always remembers birthdays and holidays and sends special treats! Thanks to Great Grandma and Grandpa Cannon for all your love and support, we love all your delicious dinners and visits. And even though we lost our sweet Great Grandma Bentley this year and miss her so very much whenever we go see Grandpa we can't help but the feel her with us too. Thank you for watching over us and taking care of all of us. And Grandpa thank your for always telling us how much we mean to you and continue to come to all our events. And to my sassy fun Granny, we love you so much and hope you get better. We wish we lived closer so we could be there with you more but know that you are in our hearts, thank you for showing us no matter what your age you can always have a good time!!!
