We always have such a fun time at Curt and Heather's pool, today was nice enough for Sophie to have her first swim! She loved it! She was so cute kicking her legs and just relaxing until she had to get out then the tears came! Hunter and Brielle love swimming with Curt and jumping off the diving board! Thanks Curt and Heather we sure do love ya!
We had such a great Memorial day weekend! I had the chance to visit with my good friends from high school, Cole Cagle and his wife Rachel stayed with us Saturday night and we met up with Adam Shepherd at of course Pizza Factory and caught up, then we went back to our house and watched a movie. Sunday Cole and Rachel left for a week in Vegas and Adam came up to Pine valley with us. We went fishing for a few hours and didn't catch a dang thing but the kids had fun exploring. We did however get caught by the ranger without our fishing license. TJ has one but we didn't know where it was and Ryan (TJ's brother) forgot his at home! The ranger was nice though and let us go! So we hung out at the cabin and took a few walks to the horses. Brielle is obsessed with horses and had to go see them at least a half a dozen times! These pictures were taken a month ago but I just got my scanner to work and I had to have record of it! All four of us (on TJ's side of the family) were preggo at the same time! Yea, that's right four babies within six months! Halle was born in November and was around four months when Jonathan and Landri were born three days apart from each other in March and Sophie was born a month after them in April! It is really fun having so many cousins to play with! There are now 9!!! Madi is the oldest she is 8, Hunter and Taeler are a year apart (5&6) and Brielle and Luke are three months apart! It gets a little crazy on Sundays at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
So I came across this picture tonight, this is Brielle and "Binks" my old robe. It all started I think when she was born. I wore this in the hospital and when she was almost a year old she found the sash and about six months later found the robe hanging in my closet and was in heaven. It's a bright red velvet robe that she treats like a blanket. She couldn't say blanket it came out binks and the name stuck! She has to have it and her two middle fingers when she sleeps. Then this is some footage I took at our American Idol party and I just had to post it, it's hilarious! She was our commercial entertainment! She is definitely is not shy there had to be 12 or so people watching and she loved every minute of it! So if David Cook needs a back up dancer Im sure she's available!

The other night after everyone is asleep I was reading in my room when all the sudden I hear running water like the bathroom faucet's on in the kid's bathroom. I get up and find this, my trouble making daughter trying to clean up her mess! TJ always sets his drinks in the fridge to fill up by themselves and that's what Brielle was trying to do but it got stuck and she couldn't get it out so instead of getting me to clean it up she decided not to chance getting in trouble and do it herself. So after two bath towels drenched with water we had it cleaned up and she was off to bed once again.
It all starts with TJ always winning things on the radio, when he does prep work in mornings he always calls in, he has won so many things including previews to quite a few movies. Well one day on our way to school Hunter heard a commercial for Indiana Jones and said dad was taking him to that movie. I called TJ and asked if he had won the tickets and he said no they haven't started giving them away yet. Well the very next morning he calls Hunter and tells him he won tickets and they were going on Thursday! Hunter got off the phone and said "I told you Mom!" I just had to laugh! So we rushed over to the theater after Baseball and when I dropped him off TJ said Hunter's pass won $20 to fiesta fun and TJ won a $25 visa card! They really liked the movie and there were only a few close Hunter's eyes parts!
Hunter had his last day of Preschool and it was pajama and movie day. When I picked him up he gave his teachers their presents and gave them a hug then Mrs. Lana put him in his seat and buckled him and told him he was ready for kindergarden and to practice his letter sounds. He started crying a little and said he didn't want to go to kindergarden he wanted to stay at preschool! It was so heartbreaking, I remember crying at the end of the year because I would miss my teacher, poor boy I am sure he will forget about it while having a blast playing this summer! Man it is tough growing up!
We had our family and some neighbors over for a potluck dinner to watch the big event and had a blast! It's so much more fun watching with a group of different opinions! We had such a great time and I think it was my homemade shirts that were the final ticket! We thought they both were really good but Cook is more our style! We thought he was going to lose but nope, GO COOK!!!
Hunter graduated from Preschool today, we are so proud of him! They sang some songs and all the kids had a small speaking part, they were all so cute! Hunter has really grown this year, he can write his name all by himself and knows most of his letter sounds and can point out all the letters when we read. On his papers from the teacher they said they would miss his contagious smile and practical jokes. Every morning we drive up and the teachers get them out of the car Hunter always scares them by hiding in the back, every morning without fail, so I can just imagine what he does at school! Hunter has really enjoyed Montessori and is excited his little sister will be going next year even though Mrs Pat and Miss Melissa are moving up north, we loved them so much and wish them the best in there new adventures! Good job Hunter!!!
It is officially summer in Sunny St. George! It's over 100 degrees and to keep cool while my parents were down we went to Sand Hollow. We celebrated Mother's Day and TJ's birthday since my parents were gone. My dad found these great jet ski's at Sam's club and the kids had a blast! They zoomed around and Brielle would lean to which ever side she was trying to turn it was really cute! TJ pulled me into the water it wasn't as cold as I thought but still I like my water a bit warmer! We also took them to the water park, we had a great time and luckily no sunburns!
So, at the ripe age of 25 I finally had my first fender bender. I was going to Costco by myself for some major shopping alone (I know it sounds lame but as a mother of three now even Costco is a bit of a getaway!) I was waiting for a space while being honked at by some jerk wanting to get out of his space I go to pull in and there is a motorcycle! Seriously who drives a motorcycle to Costco! I go to back out and get the space of the jerk still honking and then BAM horns are honking and I look back at a once vacant isle to a PT Cruiser. No one was hurt and there is minimal damage I only need a new bumper and the other guy needs a new bumper but I cried, It was my first wreck I called my sweet husband who by the way is a horrible driver and has been in quite a few wrecks, to talk me through what to do! Seriously, I never get in a wreck with all my crappy cars and only 7 months after buying my first dream SUV I crush its beautiful bumper! Well at least no one was hurt and I will be extra careful when backing out from now on!
Wow I am the luckiest Mom in the world!! I have the best husband and kids in the world! We started the day off with snuggling on the couch watching cartoons and eating cinnamon rolls. I got a new pair of shoes, some books I've been wanting, bath and body works stuff, a gift certificate to get my hair done, a PF beach bag, the movie 27 dresses, and gorgeous flowers! But my favorite was the cards the kids and TJ made! Then we got ready and went to Grandma Bentley's gravesite. Hunter drew a picture at school and asked if he could put it by the flowers we bought the other day. It was such a darling picture of the two of them, he is such a sweet boy. After that we took KFC to the water park and enjoyed the hot weather until it was time for the kids to take a nap. TJ and I watched The Lake house (I fell asleep for some of it though) and then headed to Grandma Cannon's before our dinner at TJ's parents. We had a yummy steak and shrimp dinner and hung out then headed home to get ready for school. I am so grateful to have such amazing Mom's in my life! Thank you! I didn't get to see my mom today which was kinda sad we usually have breakfast together but we called her and we will celebrate this weekend! I love you mom!
I cannot believe my little Sophie is already a month old! Time really does go by way to fast (well, not at 2am) We love her so much and cannot image life without her now! She is such a good baby and is already sleeping in four hour increments!! YEAH a little more sleep for me!!! She hardly ever cries and is perfectly content being snuggled!
Hunter's preschool also teaches the kids gymnastics on Fridays. Hunter has had a ton of fun learning all these new tricks! I thought it was just gym but it is full on Gymnastics! He did so good it was fun to watch him! He was a awarded with a medal and certificate that said he had great V-sits! We are so proud of him!
Hunter had his first T-ball game today and he LOVED it! He plays on the Colts team and is really good!! He played first and third base and said he liked first base the best! He is also a really good hitter, he can knock em out of the park!! We are so excited watching him try new things and having fun! Tonight when he was getting ready for bed and didn't want to take off his uniform he doesn't want to take it off EVER !
Saturday was TJ's 29th birthday!!! We made him breakfast and then Hunter took him to see Ironman while me and the girls got ready for the BBQ! We had so much fun with all our family! We are so lucky to have everyone live so close! Thanks to everyone that came we hope you had fun and we appreciate all you do for us! I think TJ had a good birthday and I want him to know I love him so very much! He is my best friend and works so hard to provide for our growing family! We have such a great time, he is such an amazing person and I am so grateful I have him and our kids!
