Fun times

We had a busy and fun weekend My parents came down which always makes the kids excited, they get sick of just Mom and Dad :)
Friday they took Sophie to some of the Parade Homes



Hunter and Brielle went too, at one of the houses Hunter saw his first grade teacher Mrs Slack :) Miss her she is so cute!


They had a sleepover


The next day since they went to the sand dunes for awhile and Hunter dug to China and then it collapsed on him! My Dad had to dig him out becuase he couldn't move and was short of breath! Scary!!



Sophie and Callaway had a sleepover too so we took the older ones to the movies, Journey 2 was really good! The Rock "Pops his pecks" in a scene and they bounce berries off of them, I told the kids Grandpa Doug can do that and they thought it was hilarious!!! Be prepared to "pop your pecks" next time your down Grandpa :)




Sunday the kids and I did some major cleaning in the yard, and since I had Spring Fever we planted some flowers :) As a reward for working so hard we went target shooting when TJ got home and then had a yummy steak and mash potato dinner outside since it was all spic n span :)

Red Hills

We love exploring the red hills of Dixie, nothing better than the warm sun on your face, blue skies, and red dirt!

I remember when I moved here for college everyone would say "Once the red dirt gets in your toes... you will never leave." Its true, this place is paradise, sure, nowhere is perfect and who knows what the future holds but I do love this place, good ole Sunny ST George.

The Kids and I hike quite a bit, in the winter about every other week, and mostly its just us because TJ is always at work. Lucky for me there are tons of places that are easy for the kids to manage by themselves.

Presidents weekend is a busy weekend at PF I always feel bad we can't go anywhere on holidays because of his schedule but so I try to keep the kids busy and having fun.
TJ managed to have time to have a picnic with us, we decided to meet up at the Dixie Rock. Lucky for us he brought the food :)
I love love love Pasta Factorys Chicken Noodle soup (its on Mondays) :) the kids never tire of pizza and breadtwists, which is good since they have it at least once a week lol




We explored all afternoon.










Callaway is obsessed with balls, he knows how to throw or kick each different kind and can say the names too. H e would brush off little rocks from big rocks and then found that you can throw them like balls! He kept saying "bawl" and would chuck it and laugh hystarically :)

Jr Jazz- GO TERRAPINS

This was Hunter's second season of basketball, it isn't his favorite sport but he improved so much since last year. He is an athlete he can do anything, some sports he really excels at but there isn't anything he can't do well.





Their team only won 3 out of 7 games but Hunter always made at least 1 basket and had a few games where he scored 12-18 points a game.


He really improved on driving the ball and having more faith to shoot and not just pass the ball. He was great on defense, even with some really big and tall kids he never backed down.
Some of my favorite moments this season:
He was up against a kid twice his size in height and weight, finally stole the ball, dribbled all the way down the court and made the lay up! It was great!!
He had the ball and tripped giving it up to the other team, they missed the shot and he rebounded it and took it down had trouble finding someone to pass to so he took a shot and made it!!

Love these silly boys and its so fun watching them understand the game a little more each year!

Boy or Doll?

Poor lil guy will do anything to play with his Sisters :)
Including dressing up in pink princess jammies being pushed in a grocery cart all while talking on the phone, lol, If he wasn't such a boy I would worry :P
