Brielle had her back to school night yesterday and was a little timid for the first bit but once she found some counting toys she was fine and loved going to all the different posts!! The teacher asked in she was shy and I was like heck no! She will be your little chatterbox once she opens up! She is so excited to be a big girl and go to school like Hunter! She did really well on all her testing and will start in two weeks!! Last night Hunter and I went to back to school night and met his new teacher Mrs. Guynn! She was so cute the perfect little kindergarten teacher! Hunter had so much fun walking around his new classroom and meeting some new friends! He didn't want to leave, which made me feel better. TJ and I are going to Washington D.C Saturday night until Wednesday night and this means I will miss Hunter's first two days of school!! I know I cry every time I think of it and I think I qualify as the world's worst Mom! Kindergartners usually start a week after the regular kids do so, at the beginning of the summer we thought it was the perfect time to go and about a month ago we got his information in the mail and I looked at the date and started bawling! TJ was like well you have two other kids you get to take to their first day! Ha ha very funny thanks for making me feel better! So my parents will take him to his orientation day and TJ's mom will take him on the second day. (thanks!) I am glad I had the chance to walk around his room with him and meet his teacher and explain that I am not a deadbeat parent that leaves her children all the time! Hunter I love you so much and will take you on your third day of school and you will be an old pro and can show me the ropes!!! I am so proud of you, I thought for sure you would be so scared but you walked into that classroom and found some friends and sat down and colored like you had been going to school for awhile. You are tough like bull not weak like sheep!

How cute! I can't wait to take Brooke to school. It's hard to watch them flash before our eyes and grow up. I want my babies to stay babies.
Aww...he's all grown up! Tell him I said he's a smarty pants! :)
Oh I think I would be way sad too, to miss my kids first day of school, but you are a wonderful mother some things just cannot be helped. Have so much fun in DC it is so great! Your girls new pictures are so gorgeous, what little angels, you must be so proud.
Oh you are not a bad mom. Don't think that for a second..some things can't be helped. You are there for all of his other big moments, anyways have so much fun in DC. Can't wait to see your pics.
I started tearing up thinking of you crying. Make sure your parents take LOTS of pictures...You would probably cry more if you watched him walk into his classroom on the first day. This could be a good thing! :) Everyone needs a little get away once and awhile!
Oh man tomorrow is Hannah's open house to meet her teacher, and she starts school on the 25th. I have already been crying my eyes out thanks to the baby blues so I don't think I can do it, Trent might have to help me out tomorrow with taking her.
