Valentines Day

I hate when a holiday falls on a school day, its fun doing class parties but I really want to spend the whole day with ALL of my Valentines.
Brielle and Hunter both wanted to make Ipod touches, after signing 52 of them they left me to tape them all, oh joy!


Everyone woke up had a breakfast of love. Pancakes, pink milk, fruit, and kisses of course!



Tj had a split and brought me home a heart shaped pizza, I had to run to Brielle's school so I took a piece with me and didn't take a picture :( He already found his present :)

I spent 3 hours with a bunch of Kindergarteners in sugar comas lol. We played Bingo (I made them woot woot) Pin the heart on the monster, decorated a heart animal, and ate sugar cookies. We had a ton of fun, I love these kids! It was funny a few kids didn't play and would just eat the M&MS and randomly call out bingo, like our special friend Levi lol.




I came home to these lovelies and a box of chocolate! I am loved :)

Then before Brielle had dance the kids went on their cupid treasure hunt. They get so much candy from school so they got cleats and a bats, Sophie got a pillow pet that she has been wanting.. Callaway got his Valentines shirt and chocolate, ok that was for me but he got it a few hours later lol.





After dance we picked up a heart shaped cheese pizza from Dad and he made my favorite chicken bow tie salad for me! We set off to deliver all of our Valentines and then went to bed early!

Snow Canyon Picnic

It was such a nice day and TJ actually had a day off so we went to Snow Canyon. We go here quite a bit but I don't take my camera, since TJ was with me I decided to take some pictures!

We did Jenny's trail since it is only 1/2 mile round trip. Our goal this year is to do all the trails and bring my camera lol.





Sophie, oh this girl.... she never stays on the trail, always has to be on the line. She finds all sorts of treasures, has to move rocks off the path even if they are bigger than her. She climbs, falls, and has no fear, I am sure if there was a cliff she would never think twice about just walking off it. She always slows down and takes in the view, the little things we miss she will find and for that I am thankful. The walking off the cliff and not thinking twice... gives me even more grey hairs while hiking :)





We have to go to the Sand Dunes everytime we visit Snow Canyon, I don't know why my kids love it so much since we have a huge sandbox at home.

6 months

Lil Squishy isn't so little anymore :( His 6 month stats:

27 inches 54 %

I have a feeling he is going to be short like his parents lol.
He has had a few little flu bugs the last few months but you would never know it, he is such an easy baby, always happy. He loves to scoot by arching his back and pushing his head forward and then teetering back and forth. He loves toys, puts everything and anything in his mouth, loves food, can sit up for a second but prefers to lay down still. I wish he could stay this little forever.

Silly Sophie

My house is a disaster, well it always is but since the sickness I really can't keep up. I carry around a can of Lysol everywhere I go, we have gone through one already this week lol. TJ is sweet enough to clean up the clutter, he knows I hate it and vacuumed the living room once since Miss Sophie had dumped a box of fruit loops and bag of chips all over and did I even care, nope! Some funny things she has done this week

I am collecting laundry and put Callaway on the floor in the living room with some toys, thank heavens he loves to play with toys! Sophie comes running into the room, of course she has taken off her 3rd outfit and its only 11am, she is in just her underwear.
"Mommy! Cowway lits my teets!"
I hear Callaway likes my teets, I tell her to go show me thinking this could be interesting. She lays next to him and smiles a big toothy grin and Callaway giggles uncontrollably.
"Seee Mooommy!! He lits my teets!"

Sophie loves to copy her sisters dance moves, she is always telling people "WATCH THIS!!" and spins around sometimes you will get an airabesque too. Her favorite thing to do with Brielle is dance while dressed up with make up on.


She loves to play on my Ipad, so I tell her she can only play it if she sits on the couch. She has learned so much with all the fun interactive games, our favorite apps are by duck duck Moose. They are so fun and she has learned so much, plus it keeps her entertain while at the Drs office too lol. She also steals Callaways binkie a millions times a day, no I am not exaggerating. She is houdini with making the binkie dissapear and placed in her mouth. She doesn't have naps anymore but she still has "quiet" time, she usually reads or plays on the ipad once in awhile she will fall asleep but then she doesn't go to bed easily.

Hunter has been obsessed with watching all 4 of the Jaws movies, who knew there were 4! Well now Sophie will say "Shhhh, SHARKS coming!" its so sweet, sometimes she will even sing duh duh, duh duh, duh duh DA! Its hilarious!
She does a mean fish face :)



We sure love lil Miss Sophie even if she draws on walls, cuts her hair, makes the biggest messes within seconds, she keeps us on our toes!

sickness

We have NEVER been this sick for this long. Usually we get sick and it last a day or two about once a year, this year it has lasted all month long! Brielle got the flu and was out for a week, Sophie and Callaway have gotten a little bit of everything but thankfully haven't been too sick, TJ wierdly enough hasn't been sick and he is always sick! As for me and Hunter....



Adenovirus/pinkeye!!

I would rather have the flu!!! Adenovirus is like the flu but with awful pinkeye! Luckily Hunter didn't get it as bad and only in one eye. I wasn't as lucky, both eyes awful awful AwFuL!!! I am thankful for such good friends/neighbors who have brought my family dinner, dropped off treats, and called or wrote to say they were thinking of my contaminated house!! I am one lucky girl! Now hopefully it will go away!! My eyelids are not as swollen and its day #5 here is hoping of a quicker recovery.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Hunter had his first blue and gold banquet and received his bobcat badge! He had so much fun and we are so proud of him!

Callaway was asleep and he was the only one representing the luau theme lol

Sophie the hairdresser

I had a Mommy meltdown, yelling, screaming, hysterical crying all because of my Sophie girl.
I was helping Brielle with her homework, she missed a week of school because of the flu, at her school they move so fast if you miss a week, you end up with 20 pages of homework. We were working away when Sophie comes up and sits by us and I see hair falling onto the table I look up and she had given herself a hack job. I was so upset, I called my neighbor/friend who does my hair and asked if she could come over and fix it. Looking at her now it could have been much worse, once again she looks like a hillbilly.
