Carving Pumpkins!

Look at these beauties!! Carving pumpkins: The kids get so excited and beg all day to do it, pick the pattern, help gut it out, poke the design, and then the rest is up to us! :)

Staheli Family Farm

A great Tradition of ours is picking a pumpkin and playing at the Staheli farm.

The kids love petting the animals the most and this year was a hoot because Sophie literally laughed her head off when TJ put her on an animal and it started to move. It was the funniest thing watching her gut laugh every time.

The kids found the perfect pumpkin and Sophie found one too, she wouldn't put it down! The lady ended up giving it to us for free because she was so cute, she kept hugging it saying "Mine! Pumpkin! Mine!" It was a great day at the farm.

First Halloween Party!

Our neighbors also throw a great street dance party every Halloween, they bust out their juke box and we eat and boogie all night. This year their ward did games for the kids and it was a lot of fun. The kids ate everything in sight and Sophie loved dancing the night away! We had fun with our neighbors the Otts coming up with fun costumes for the night since I don't wear my costume until our party! :)

My two favorite girls, Cecilie and Heather, we look pretty scary! :)

Brielle and Aaron, I use to babysit Aaron and his sister and Brielle has the biggest crush on him and calls him her boyfriend. She followed him around all night! He is such a good kid and is so sweet to her.

WINNER!!!

And the Winner is........

HEATHER!!!!

Congrats and thanks to all those kind comments! Happy Halloween!

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

I have this pictured in my head when my awesome parents told me they were taking Brielle and Hunter to the Utah vs. UNLV game....
Good seats since my Dad is the king of finding the perfect seat.

Yummy treats because that's what grandparents are known for right?

Lots of cheering and Brielle saying "The football players are dancing!" while watching them warm up :)

Instead they come home the next afternoon and I find this!
My Dad takes Hunter to the game....

takes him gambling....

and then takes him to see the showgirls!

Thanks Mom and Dad for always doing such fun things! The kids had so much fun, we love you so very much! GO UTES GO!

Sophie 18 months

Time is going by so quickly I just realized Sophie turned 18 months last week! So I took her to the park to take some pictures and she wanted nothing to do with it. I got a ton of her picking flowers and playing in the dirt but only one of her smiling and thats when we got there and she saw the ducks. I tried to sit her on the rocks and she cried so I just walked around snapping pictures. I took some great ones of her looking anywhere but towards the camera! :) silly girl.
She is getting two more teeth on the bottom and has been saying so many new words. Her favorite words lately are:
Uh ho, no, yea, puppy, up, eye's, nose, belly, please (peez), thank you, banana (nana), grandpa (gompa), hi, bye, off, and down, and so much more.
She isn't much of a talker like Brielle was she is more like Hunter and loves getting into things, she is our little tornado she can turn a room upside down before you even blink! She loves to eat anything and loves playing outside with her siblings and puppies. She is such a funny girl and definitely has spunk like her sister! We love her so much, she is our snuggly girl and loves to give us tons of hugs and kisses. When we put her to bed she has to give a us a big hug while patting our back, say nighty night, and then takes her binkie out and blows us a kiss. She loves to say tickle tickle while tickling us and making Monster growls and chasing us down the hall. Her favorite song she can somewhat sing is Twinkle Twinkle little star.
She is such a smart girl, it's sad to see her becoming a little girl and quickly leaving the baby stage but at the same time really exciting. Our kids are all at different types of fun ages and the older they get the more fun we have. Thank you for being you Sophie you definitely complete our family. We love you Monster!

My little helpers

Today we did some cookin in the kitchen and the girls loved it. They were such good helpers and loved taste testing. We made a yummy pear/apple spice cake with maple cinnamon cream frosting, cheesy Parmesan rolls and chicken noodle casserole. But by the time it was all done and it was time to eat I wasn't hungry! Brielle smashed her finger on my dicer and I caught her taking a spoonful of sugar and she looked at me and said "That Mary Poppins was right! A spoonful of sugar makes it all better!"

Another funny thing Brielle said today, she ran out and grabbed a newspaper on our driveway as I was getting Sophie in the car and came runny up to me saying "It's a map! It's a map! And we are suppose to go golfing!"
There was an article about golfing on the front. Oh I love her imagination! So I made a treasure hunt for her while she was at school to find her after school snack. She loved it.

Hunters first flag football game

Hunter played in his very first flag football game and was so excited about it. All the boys were so cute and so excited to be playing football (if you can call it that!) :) Hunter along with the rest of the boys kept playing with their mouth guard the whole time, they are going to have to get use to them. We are excited for the season it is going to be a ton of fun, all the boys are in our neighborhood and always are having fun playing sports together. Go Bengals Go!!!
Hunter is in such a fun age right now, he is my little buddy with such a funny personality. He gets in these I am a cool dude moods sometimes but still can cuddle with his Mommy. He still fits on my lap for a hug and story, it will be a sad day when he is too big for that. I love watching him play sports, play with his friends, and interact at school. I am so blessed to be able to stay home and watch him grow and volunteer at his school. I cannot believe he is mine this crazy little blond haired blue eyed boy has grow up to a little man! I love him so much and I am so proud to be his Mom. He makes me a better person and is such a good friend. Thank you Hunter for being you, you are tough like bull not weak like sheep.
