Memorial Day Swim Party!
TJ had split so we went and had a fun swim party with our family! I am so thankful for all those who serve our country so I can enjoy my family. Sophie is a total Daddy's girl, if he is around she wants nothing to do with anyone but him! It is kinda nice to get the break so I am totally okay with it! Aunt Katherine managed to snag a snuggle in the float tub though! Brielle is finally floatie free, she is doing so much better swimming! The kids had a blast with their friends and cousins and fell asleep on the short 5 mile drive home :) Thanks for the fun afternoon Grandma Kathy!

My little Shadow
Making Cookies
The girls love to cook and though I don't love the clean up the truth is I am just as bad cooking by myself! I am not a clean cook no matter what I make it's everywhere! So why not add a few extra hands and giggles to the mix! Brielle is our commentator, she is constantly talking like we are the food network or something. She oo's and aw's over the smells, tastes, colors, everything! She even will tell me I am doing a good job! Sophie just wants to lick every utensil used and it's pretty funny when she gets a lick of salt.

School's out for the summa!
I can't believe this school year is over! Hunter wanted to ride his bike with his "crew" and after he left I got a bit teary eyed, the last day of first grade, where does the time go? I looked at his yearbook picture and he looked like a baby. Here is a picture of the kids on the first day and then last day with their summer fun buckets

The girl Hunter likes invited him to her house to a swim party after the last day school, he was so excited to go. He told me he could just ride his bike to her house but I told him I wanted to talk to her Mom so I would take him and then he could ride his scooter home. The party was from 3-4:30pm and the entire time he was gone I was watching the clock. TJ came home around 4:45pm, I asked if he saw Hunter riding home and he said his scooter was still there. I was freakin out, wondering if I should call or go get him, TJ was laughing at me saying they were probably kissing goodbye, not helping the situation! He was like why is this different from him playing or going to girls birthday parties and I was like because he doesn't get all giddy when he is around those girls! Finally Hunter comes through the door just after 5pm!! He said he had a blast with all of his friends and I was just glad he was home! This growing up stuff is awful!
We had a bonfire with some neighbors to celebrate the beginning of summer, nothing better than friends, smores, hotdogs, and throwing your school work in the fire!!! Yipee it's summa time!

Red Sox
We had our team party and sadly my battery died but I did get a few pictures. The kids had a blast playing water baseball and eating yummy pizza! We have had such a fun season, love these kids!

Hunter has had the biggest crush on this girl since Kindergarten, so sweet. He told me awhile ago she had the whole package, she is cute, smartest in the class, and plays sports and wrestles. He is always saying she is H-O-T HOT, Oh I am in trouble!

Light at the end of the tunnel
We are wrapping up all sports, school, and other activities this week and I am so glad! For the next 10 weeks we can do NOTHING!!! Okay I don't think we could do nothing but I am glad we can sleep in, stay up, no school activities to plan, or sports practices and games, we can do anything we want! I am sure I will want them to be back in school some days but I am glad I get to spend time with Hunter, it seems like when they are in school we hardly get to really just hang out and chill together. He gets home just before 4pm and then there is usually practices, games, or other activities, and then dinner, getting ready for bed, and then finally we get some alone time while reading books. Summer here we come! :)
Hunter's end of school party (Survivor Luau) check!

Teacher's thank you presents, check!

Red Sox end of season party favors, check!

Ready for an ending to Preschool, First Grade, and Baseball this week... sadly check!

30 weeks
30 weeks, wow! 10 more to go, it seems like the next 2 months will never get here but at the same time 30 weeks has gone by too fast! I am just now getting to the point where I am uncomfortable and exhausted and want it to be over. I started getting into my nesting phase, I have been organizing drawers and rooms, too bad the rest of the house still is chaotic. I have most everything now, gotta love good friends and craigslist! I did the Glucose test and had to bring the girls, Brielle was so intrigued by it all asking the nurse all sorts of funny questions. Afterward I had to take them to TJ and go get my Rhogam shot, Brielle asked where they give me my shot and if it was going to hurt. I said no they just give me a quick shot in the butt. She said "Well at least it's cushy!" Sadly yes, don't feel a thing :) We were chatting this morning and she looked at our family picture and asked if I had a baby in my belly then I had to think about it but I was a few weeks along and didn't know it! She was like "Why isn't your tummy big?" So I showed her this website and how the baby grows http://www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/ She was in awe and said "Mom, that is a miracle!" At that moment I realized it really is, the whole process of getting these precious babies is nothing short of a miracle.
Sorry for the awful picture but I always forget to take one when Im all dressed up or I do and it doesn't show my belly! :)

Cute Brielle
My Mom took Brielle shopping for shoes a few weeks ago and they came home with these...

Her first pair of high heeled shoes! She loves them and would practice walking in them all the time, patiently waiting for her graduation day. I thought for sure she would fall flat on her face during her program but she didn't even trip! TJ had a protective Daddy moment when he saw them on her, he was like "She is too young for high heels!" It was so cute I just laughed and told him she is almost 5! She is growing up.

TJ's parents gave her a bag full of goodies for graduating and when we got home she was going through it and said "They must have REALLY liked my program, look at all these yummy treats!"
