My two littlest Monsters!

Sophie loves to play with her brother and "help" me, and Callaway is such a good brother and takes it, I am sure that won't last long though! I sure love my two littlest Monsters :) And in case you are wondering, yes Sophie has a whole closet full of clothes but she prefers to be naked! We call her Mogli, most the time her blond hair is all over her face, she's just in her underwear and is running around the backyard chasing Bella.

carnival

Nothing like a potluck dinner and playing some Halloween carnival games with our fun neighbors! Sophie was in a bad mood so she clung to TJ all night and then right before we left started playing games, go figure! The kids had fun going through the costume box, I don't care what they are but they can't wear their costumes until after our party. Hunter was a werewolf and Brielle was little red riding hood. Callaway our vampire, loved looking around at all the bright fun costumes. After the kids ran around wild we took them for some yummy custard! Sophie was in her element dancing to the 50s music!

Miss Smart's Birthday

We had the kids surprise Miss Smart by making clown puppets and singing Happy Birthday, then we ate some yummy cake! The kids were so excited I guess all day they told her they had a surprise for her birthday but they couldn't tell her what it was :) I love this age, all the kids are so funny! We took a funny picture of each kid and put them on a huge card, we asked them to write their name by their pictures. Funny thing is some kids put their name on other faces and on top of other names, it was hilarious!

Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins at Grandpa and Grandma Bentley's is always an interesting event with little kids.
Fight over who gets the biggest pumpkin, fight over the tools used to cut, carve, and poke the pumpkin, and then fight over who's is the coolest all lit up. Mom and Dad end up doing most the work and of course we don't do it right lol. Sophie and Brielle both almost poked their eyes out with a knife this year, and Sophie bit off the lid to some dye and had blue all over her mouth, she didn't get sick so it must have been harmless. She also liked transffering the pumpkin guts from one pan to another. Carving pumpkins, I cannot wait until they are older on this tradition! Brielle ended up coloring hers and I once again carved it upside down, seriously happens every year. I get too distracted I guess!

Movie night

Nothing better than a big tub of movie popcorn, I like to add this to mine...

GWA Carnival

Brielle's school has a big carnival every year, it's one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. As Room Mom I have been working my tail off for weeks for this day. My bossy, organizing, list making, job delegating, and creative self was in full bloom with this project. Our class had the Football toss booth, for the silent auction our basket theme was pizza night, we got The Pizza Factory to donate $50 and then had aprons, rolling pins, a book, pizza pan and all the ingredients to make homemade pizza! Sadly I didn't take a picture, it was so cute we used the pizza box to put everything in and tied it all up in cellophane. It was tons of work but we had a great turn out and the kids and I had fun playing all the games and eating yummy cotton candy. The Kindergartners sang 2 songs a baa baa black sheep rap with sunglasses on and I'm a mean ol witch with a hat.

Cousins Party!

We had a ton of fun playing and eating with all the cousins! It was totally chaos but we are use to that around here. At the beginning of the party TJ ran to the store so I was by myself while we made the pizza's, it was an eventful time that's for sure, Callaway was crying because he was hungry, we had a football game before the party and I hadn't fed him yet. The little kids were throwing globs of cheese and Sophie was putting on piles of pepperonis. Luckily my older nieces where there helping me out, I don't know what I would have done without them! While cooking the pizza the kids were playing a Halloween form of duck duck goose when I smelled something burning, I forgot to put a pan under the pizza pan and cheese was melting down onto the oven floor and burning! Despite the smoke our mummy pizzas turned out yummy!



When TJ got back from the store I fed Callaway and then he was back to being his happy self!


After dinner the kids decorated cupcakes, they looked good enough to eat! We didn't have time to play games but the kids where content with playing out in the backyard.







Jonathan lived in the sand box, he didn't like the pizza or garlic bread but ate a whole can of olives out in the sandbox. He wasn't into decorating cupcakes either.. but he did like his "goodies" with milk of course when everyone left lol.


Landri and Halle got cold so we got them a jacket too bad all we have is Utah jackets :) We almost had them switching sides lol!



We had a blast and need to do it more often!
