Spring Break- Vegas Style

This is the first time we have been able to go somewhere during Spring Break, usually it's too busy for TJ to be able to take work off. Luckily he was able to take 2 days off so we went to Las Vegas! We stayed at The Golden Nugget, their pool is one of the Top 5 pools in American, it was awesome! My kids are all obsessed with Sharks and The movie Jaws so they LOVED it!! Vegas is always an entertaining and educational visit for the Bentley bunch ;)

Lounging by the pool

Callaway felt he need some color on his back too!

And then took a siesta!

"I swim with sharks, they bit me" - Sophie

We went down the hydro-tube through the shark tank a million times!

"The number one rule in Vegas.. Don't look down at the ground!" -Hunter

"Why do all the girls in Vegas wear their bikini's while singing and dancing all the time?" -Brielle

"Wow, you have your hands full." "Are they all yours?" "You've been busy." "I remember those days" "Wow, they get cuter and cuter." - random strangers

We stuffed our faces at Hash Hash Go Go

Spring has sprung

Kids playing outside all day, tree's in bloom, flowers and strawberries planted, rosy noses and cheeks, flip flops, new swimsuits, = one happy family since Spring has sprung!

So pretty

Oh Sophie,
please don't grow up and become a hairdresser or make-up artist!
Love, Mom

Basketball party

For the end of season party we had a ice cream party and a few Dads played against the kids, the boys love this and its pretty entertaining to watch the young boys school the old men lol.

7 months

7 months sheesh makes me sad each month that flies by!
7 things about my lil squishy..
* This boy loves to eat and grabs at everything and anything, then he quickly stuffs it in his mouth.
* He loves his siblings, no one can make him laugh like they can.
* He is such a snuggle puppy and is so easy going. We love him so much!
* He can caterpillar crawl
* Almost sits up without a bobby behind him.
* Loves toys (a first most my kids didn't)
* Is on a great schedule but is easy going if we can't follow it.

When Dad is in charge

TJ is the commissioner for Dixie little League and is in charge of the 5-6 year old and 8-9 year old divisions. We have to put over 500 kids into 27 teams and find coaches for each team. And when I say we I mean me lol :) Sounds easy but trust me it's not, you have to put kids from the same area together and also have comments of who wants to be with who and what team blah blah blah. I started at 10 am Sunday Morning and finished at 1am Monday Morning and still had to switch kids and find another coach Monday night. Parents call and complain and its a hassle, but I think its important to serve in the community and we get the benefit of choosing our team and using the machine pitches whenever we want. The thing that gets me is that the parents that complain the most don't do a dang thing and the parents who help out are the ones that are easy going.

After working none stop I got up to go to the bathroom and found this.....
No bib used while he ate a baby cookie, nose hadn't been wiped, eating crayons, sitting on the couch, and where was Dad while he was "coloring" with his sister?

Celtics

Hunter's first season of Basketball has come to an end, it's amazing how quickly he picked up on this sport. He improved so much during the short 5 week season and had such a great time with his friends. All boys played really well for their first season of basketball, we are so proud of them, Go Celtics!

It's that time of year again....... Spring Soccer!
Hunter is playing up with 3rd and 4th graders this year, we are excited for him to learn more. TJ is coaching his team Revolution, so our lives are filled with tons of balls lately hee hee. Basketball, Soccer, and getting teams ready for Baseball since Tj is the commissioner for Tball and the 8-9 year olds, and I am the one that does all the work lol.

Clown

It's always a circus at the Bentley house!

This is what you get when you give an 8 year old boy a $20 credit to the Book fair. Awhile back Hunter got a credit since he sold the most cookie dough. They let him pick out whatever and this is what he came home with, it made me laugh! I probably would have been mad if it was my $20 but he earned it so I can't complain.
