definition of a princess?

What is the definition of a princess? When I looked it up I got this...

Well, Sophie and I were at Costco waiting in line to checkout.
Sophie points to the lady next to us and said "LOOK!!! Mom! It's a pretty princess!"
As I turn my head I am thinking its someone really pretty or that has a fancy outfit on but when I see who she is talking about I couldn't help but bust up laughing! I saw this...

Sophie said "She has a pretty pink dress and fancy hair!"
So what is your definition of a princess? :)

Dancing Diva

Brielle had her dance recital and did an amazing job, she looked so beautiful and so happy!

Nights like these are so special for a Mom and daughter, a few hours before the show Callaway and Sophie were napping, I am so thankful they did it never happens that way! We had enough time to get ready slowly without rushing to get everything ready and head out the door. I painted Brielle's nails, we talked and giggled and I gave her some advise about performing, we did her hair and make-up, and then put on the costume. There is nothing more exciting than the costume right? :) Then we turned up the music and danced our hearts out to make sure her hair stayed in place.

I will never forget this moment and I hope she always remembers it as lovingly as I do.

When she came on stage I almost didn't recognize her she has gotten so big, she is not a little girl anymore she is growing up way too fast! She shaked her groove-thang just liked I told her "You have to do everything big when you are on stage, so everyone even the people in the back can see you." I am pretty sure everyone noticed :) They Danced a tap song to 'Hot hot hot" and then to 'Supermodel.'

I am so proud of all your hard work BB you get better and better every year! You are so talented and I hope you will always try your best and enjoy it! Thank you for being such a fun girl, I sure love you and love watching you! You were Tough like Bull tonight!

Brielle's cousin Halle also takes dance from 'On Stage' it was so fun watching her first recital she was adorable! Sophie is so excited to join her in the fall, so much fun these silly girls are! We were able to go with our families to Cafe Rio to celebrate and
Brielle even got to sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa Bentley, she has had the best night, thank you to our family for making it so special.

Happy Un-Birthday and Astronauts

Brielle celebrated her un-birthday at school so we brought pizza and breadtwists for her class! She was so excited and for weeks would ask if it was the day yet?


It just so happened to be the end of Solar System week and the Astronaut Jake Garn was there for the assembly! He was so nice and it was neat to see the movie he put together in space. I didn't get a good picture with my camera, I was given a camera to use for the newspaper and after taking those totally forgot to take some with mine too, so here are some for the sideline.



Senator Garn flew as a payload specialist on STS-51D Discovery (April 12-19, 1985). STS-51D was launched from and returned to land at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida. It's primary objective was to deploy two communications satellites, and to perform electrophoresis and echocardiograph operations in space in addition to a number of other experiments. At the conclusion of the mission, Senator Garn had traveled over 2.5 million miles in 108 Earth orbits, logging over 167 hours in space. Senator Garn is the first member of congress to fly in space.

Creative Minds

I took Halle and Sophie to Creative Minds for their cousin fun day. It's kinda like The Treehouse but a lot smaller lol. The girls had a blast playing in all the fun centers, their favorites were "Lins market", dressing up as princesses, playing Cinderella on stage at Tuachan and the pirate ship. Love you Halle we had so much fun!!

Jumpin Jacks

I took Sophie, Callaway, their cousin Jonathan, and Kingston to Jumpin jacks for some fun! They were so funny to watch bounce around and race each other on the slides. We had a blast and the kids took a great nap after! Lots of pictures but they are pretty self explanatory :)

We wanna pitcher...

Hunter pitched his first game and did really well. He has such a strong arm and can get it across the plate, we just need to work more on consistency and not worrying about hitting someone :) He struck 2 kids out and had some of them scared to hit. I thought for sure he would get too emotional if he wasn't perfect but he said had fun! The Mariners are doing so well this season they have only lost 1 game! It is so much fun watching these boys do so well, they deserve it!

Mothers Day

TJ made his famous scone breakfast for me and my Momma, he is the best cook. Love you Mom, I am so glad I got to spend the morning with you and Dad!



The weather was really windy so it put a damper on our plans so we took a nap, watched a movie, and played Uno all afternoon. Sophie is getting really good at playing too!
TJ and the kids delivered our Mother's day goodies while I got ready to go to Outback for dinner, they gave out carnations to all the Moms, it was so sweet.

I am so thankful for all the wonderful Moms in my life and I am so blessed to have 4 lil Monsters who make my life full of so much love and choas :)

Mothers day- gifts from the heart

The best part of Mothers day is seeing what the kids made at school, they get so excited about their "secret" and I honestly love what they come up with.

She gave me a poem with her handprint along with a flower colored beautifully! And filled out this a paper, hilarious!!!
My mom weighs 10lbs
she is 28 years old, she put 26 put changed it after I told her I was 28 :)

my mom loves me best when i'm silly
if i could give my mom something special it would be lunch
my favorite thing about my mom is her pretty earrings



TJ got me some beautiful flowers, tickets to Grease this summer at Tuachaun and a hair package deal.
