Mother's Day!

My parents gave me the best gift and had a sleepover with all the kids so TJ and I went to Iron Man 2 and slept in! In the morning we had our usual scone breakfast. Brielle had picked out this necklace for my Mom and was so excited so give it to her, it was either this or some ugly flip flops with bling all over lol! Thank you Mom for being my best friend! I love you so much and I am so thankful to have you to talk to everyday, you always make me feel better when I am having a bad day. Thank you for spending so much time with your Grandkids and making them feel loved and special. They think you are the greatest! Even after working hard all week and driving hundreds of miles you still play with them, they have so many fond memories already.



Then we hung out and had a family nap!!



We went to TJs parents house for dinner, the guys did great this year it was so good! We surprised TJs Mom with a picture of all the grandkids, which was a chore but we at least got one where no one was crying! We love you so much Kathy and hope you enjoyed your day. Thank you so much for always coming to all the kids events, they always feel so loved you are there. I don't know how you do it with as many grandkids you have but we appreciate it. Thank you for holding our families together by getting us together every Sunday, there is a lot of complaining most the time but we wouldn't be as close if you didn't have us over. Thank you for your example of unconditional love for each of us. We love you!


We ended the night visiting the great grandmas. We love you so much Grandma Cannon, thank you for always thinking of us, we appreciate your love and support. Wish we could have spent more time with you. And to Grandma Bentley, we miss you everyday, you brought so much into our lives.


To all the Mommies in my life, thank you for your examples! And thank you Hunter, Brielle, Sophie, and rolly polly baby for making me a Mom, I love you all so much!

Cousins

We took a picture for Mother's Day of all the cousins on the Bentley side, it was hilarious! That night after loading them my Sister-in-law Tana and I were laughing because TJ was in some of them trying to make Sophie stop crying. TJ said Where's Waldo and we lost it, I was laughing so hard I was getting major contractions! Between screaming Sophie, Kade getting hit in the head by Jonathan, kids looking at crying kids or their parents, other people watching them laughing at us parents trying to make 10 kids smile and look at the camera's, or all the kids moving around doing weird poses, I am surprised we did end up with one where you could at least see all their faces and no one was crying! And to think Tana and I are the only ones that are done having babies lol! Maybe in 10 years we will get a good one! Here is a sample of the hundreds we took lol!

Mothers Day Tea Party

Brielle and I had such a great time together at her school. They sang all of us Moms some fun songs and read the book I love you forever. Brielle read "But at night time, when that two year old was quiet, she opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor, looked up over the side of the bed." She was so cute! My favorite part is when they serve treats because you never know what they are going to bring!

Tooth Fairy

Brielle told us she saw the tooth fairy take her teeth and put money in the pillow, she was very pretty with a pink and purple glitter dress, and when she saw her wake up she ran out so quick!

Snoring..

The only time I snore is when I am pregnant, well loudly anyway! I don't know why but it gets so bad TJ wears earplugs lol. Brielle woke up in the middle of the night and came to sleep with us, we let her since she had her teeth worked on. This morning I am fixing breakfast and she tells me...
"Mom, you really need to find somewhere else to sleep, you snore like an animal! I couldn't sleep because you were so loud!"
I was laughing so hard and told her then maybe she shouldn't sleep in my bed then!
She then asked, "Is that why Dad has special night time ears?"
Yep, sure is!

TJ's birthday/Brielle's surgery

Poor TJ had a boring birthday, he did get to go golfing and watch movies, his two favorite things! He got his cute little gun a month ago, that was his main present and new clothes. Brielle had some major dental work done, so we all snuggled at home with her. Brielle is terrified of Dentists and Doctors, I don't know why she goes to all of Hunter and Sophie's appointments and they never have any problems. Everytime I take her to the dentist she freaks out and doesn't let them do anything. A month ago I took her in and she actually let them brush her teeth with a tooth brush, major improvement. She had an attached frenulum and some cavities so we had to put her under and do everything at once. He clipped her frenulum and put in 3 stitches, he pulled 4 teeth since they were loose and she got 5 caps! I cry everytime I see her poor mouth. She is doing fine and isn't in any pain. Hunter thinks she is cool because she now looks like a pirate with all the silver and missing teeth. Thank heavens baby teeth fall out, now hopefully she will grow some teeth and not be afraid of the dentist, so we don't have to do this again. Worse moment of my entire time being a Mom I think. I still cry thinking about it, my poor beautiful Brielle. I will have to take some better pictures of her I was too traumatized yesterday to think about it.
While TJ was golfing he told me to turn on the radio because his brother put his name in for them to say Happy Birthday. We turned it on and they said his name and then he won a free cake and flowers!! Brielle was so excited his name was called out and I laughed that out of 10 or so people he won! So I didn't have to make another cake and I get free flowers for Mothers Day, which are the best kind :)

Weekend Events!

The Ironman competition was in St. George this weekend, these crazy people swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and run 26.2 miles!! It was amazing watching the first few people run across the finish line!

Last Game

Soccer season is officially over, well until fall. :) They tied 2-2 and Hunter scored an awesome goal, the team they played was the only team they lost to at the beginning of the season so we were so proud of them! Way to be tough like bull not weak like sheep Hunter, we are so proud of you!
