family bike ride
One of our favorite Sunday night outings is going for bike rides.

Around the same time we needed extra cash a friend that works at The Childrens Place told me they needed seasonal help for back to school. I jumped on it, I took it as an answered prayer and my kids needed school clothes, I needed the discount and some extra cash was a bonus!
Its been great, my hours vary from 40 to 5 a week but its fun and doesn't take me away from my kids and their games :)
Some days I pick them up from school take them home and head to work until 2am everyday but then there are weeks I only work a 5 hours shift, so it evens out.
They love me, I work my ass off but know how to have fun!

It's the little things in life
Tj is blessed with a great job, even though he works long hard hours and usually does the work of 50 people. He is really lucky to still have a job and his boss does a lot of great things for our family
TJ has been struggling at work lately, he doesn't feel like he is appreciated for what he does and nothing is ever good enough, he's always in a lose lose situation, I guess thats what you get when you are at the top. He has worked on and off at The Pizza Factory for 17 years and I dare say there are not a lot of people who even come close to being there that long. He feels like his boss is family not just a boss.
It hurts to watch him feel that way and not love going to work everyday but at the same time I know how stubborn he is if things don't go his way :) and he needs to learn to be more patient, things always seem to workout the way they're suppose to even if it's not what you want.
We were told we had to start buying our own health insurance and only had a few weeks until we had to start paying, it killed me, I didn't know where we would get that extra money, we both have been doing little side jobs to pay for all the kids extra's. I cried. I was mad. I was frustrated. I understood and knew I had to keep being thankful that he had a job and we had gone 8 years without having to pay but when you get thrown in another direction all the sudden it really does stop you in your tracks, even if its something small.
Hunter gave me this heart shaped rock and it made me realize money will always be a constant struggle, even if you have a lot it never seems like enough! Our bills are paid, we have roof over our heads and food. I am so thankful because the things in life that I hold dear are priceless and I can do without everything else.

This is why I usually post things right away... because if I don't I fall months, yes MONTHS behind!!!
I must keep plugging along with this lovely ole blog and while I am sure I have no followers now (they're all on FB and Instagram I am sure though) I need to write, even if its a sentence so my precious lil Monsters can laugh and smile when they look back on our "crazy" life.
Summer yes I am still on summer and we are 2 months into the school year, sigh....
Lots of movies, get out of the head and have some fun. We went with friends, cousins, and just us. Love the dollar theater especially when its just us in there!

Tj bought a huge case of corn, we had it every night forever! Good thing this kid likes to eat :)
Date Night
Hunter and I went to Dinner and a movie on a whim one night... Sophie and Callaway were at my parents and Brielle had a late birthday party Hunter does so much for me, I know how hard it is to be the oldest and I am glad we got to hang out and be silly and talk, man he is growing up. I love my lil buddy!

Football
I fought hard and lost the tackle football battle. I don't like it and I think he is too young but he is doing it. Hunter said "Mom, I won't get hit Im too fast!" Confidence is key in sports, he has it, well... most the time anyway :)
He was so excited picking up his equipment and I have to admit he looked cute and so big!

Art class this summer... Hunter made a ton of clay sculptures that haven't been fired yet and this beauty! He amazes me :)

We spend a ton of time playing at the parks around town, nothing better than a hot summer night playing together :)
Friends visit
My good friend Marcus and his cute lil family were in town so we had a lunch date at the waterpark, we had so much fun catching up while the kids played.
It down poured for a little and the kids thought it was the greatest thing ever!
The next night we all pilled in our living room and had a family movie night it was so fun and Bryndee and Brielle were so sad to leave each other, they had become best friends!
My friend Lindsey also visited, we danced together when we were young and had a very similar life, her and her husband Phil went to dinner with us and then we saw Batman.
We took the kids to the waterpark and got into a huge water fight, it was hilarious all the other parents were pissed and we were having a grand ole time :)
So good catching up after all these years!

When life hands you lemons... or not.....
Brielle and Lia wanted to sell lemonade but Lia's Mom was coming to pick her up, I go out front and find the music on and the girls singing and dancing on the table with a sign thats says $2 to watch us dance, seriously.... I am in so much trouble when they grow up!!!! 
4th of July
We had a great 4th of July
Our annual neighborhood parade, someone dropped the ball this year and we didnt do a potluck breakfast, but we still had fun decorating and seeing everyone.
Callaway and I cheered them on and yelled GO!
Swam and had a BBQ with TJs family
Enjoyed the sprinkles of rain, playing with cousins, and lots of fun!!
Did a few sparklers and pop its
Headed up to forecaster like the rest of St George this year and watched the city fireworks. They were pretty good this year!
Then we headed home and TJ put on his own show and we served root beer floats!
