Lunch Date

Hunter chose McDonalds for his birthday lunch at school. I love how all the kids react when you bring it lol. I bought a few extra fries to share ;). Sophie was so cute she was carrying the happy meals and when she saw Hunter ran up to him and said "Happy birthday to you, chicken for you!"

This cute girl Bailey wanted to get in all of our pictures lol

Not a great picture but considering a 2nd grader took it, it will have to do lol.

Start of the birthday celebration!

You can never celebrate your birthday for only one day in this family. Hunter went on his Birthday date with Grandma Kathy on Saturday, they went to Wendy's and he got spicy chicken he said it was soooo good. Before Grandma showed up he asked me if it was a real date and I told him anytime he goes out with a girl whether its his Grandma, Sister, Mom, friend whoever he should always act like a gentlemen. I am proud to say he actually does listen to his Mom, TJs Mom said he opened doors, and told her she looked pretty. What a sweetheart he is. He came home with legos, no surprise and put them all together that afternoon!

Sunday, Grandma made his favorite dinner, homemade chicken nuggets, and mash potatoes with gravy. Thanks to all our family for being there for him.

Brielle had a temperature so we made her stay in the basement, TJ ate with her and watched movies. Sunday's are always crazy with all the cousins running around!

Phone coversations

Brielle and her school friends have been exchanging phone numbers, it's so cute when she gets home and hands me a crumbled up piece of paper with a number that is hard to read. Last night I couldn't read the number and she was upset because she really wanted to call her, when all of the sudden the phone rang, it was her friend! She was walking around the house, sitting in her room telling her siblings to "Go away, she was on the phone!" At one point she went outside and sat on the tramp. I heard bits and pieces of her conversation and it was hilarious, she would say she was busy that day but could play on this day, laughing about kids in the class and playing tag, and all of the other school talk.
Oh my a flash of what her teenage years will be came to mind. Do you remember sneaking the phone and talking until 2 in the morning? Talking on 2 different phones and getting a page at the same time?

This is one of my favorite pictures she was a little over a year and talking in complete sentences, she was never a toddler to me, she went from a baby to a little girl over night it seemed. This girl loves to talk and eat.

The beginning...

I think invitations are a taste of what's to come....

This is what I have been working on, this party has been challenging because they don't have a ton of things to buy for this theme, well unless it's online and that's expensive! I've had to get creative with my party budget but that is half the fun for me, I love planning and making things! Parties are so much fun! I hope my birthday boy will love it! This is me next week...

This will be the bday boy!

Mlk

My parents took the kids to Sand Hallow to play while Callaway and I enjoyed a peaceful warm day at home since he wasn't feeling good. They almost dug to China ;)

My sweet Sister-in-law made aprons and gave the kids 'The Everything kids Cookbook' for Christmas. Brielle begged me to make something so we busted out the ingredients. She did about 90% of the work, don't they look delicious! I love how Sophie had to hold her baby and cook at the same time and Callaway chewed on his apron and watched us.

Callaway 5 1/2 months

My snuggle puppy has his first real cold :( so sad. He has a cough, low grade fever off and on, and is really congested. I am lucky and have healthy kids, they may get a sniffle here and there but they hardly ever get really sick. I am so thankful for this, I hate when there is nothing I can do. Callaway has had extra snuggles and loves this weekend. Even when he is sick he is all smiles, love ya squishy.

Snazzy new do's

We put my Dad to work and made him cut all the kids hair, what a chore! All of them except for Sophie had a trim and we gave Sophie a horseshoe style my Dad calls it. Her bangs have finally grown to her chin so it was time for some style! She looks so cute and her hair will grow so much better. Thanks Dad, you are the best!
Brielle's hair has grown so much, I love it!

Hunter looks like a different kid after his haircuts, he's so handsome.

Callaway is 5 1/2 months and has 2 haircuts! He was a little more wiggly this time and at one point grabbed my Dads shirt like, "I gotta ya!" he has rubbed off the sides but the top is so thick so we went short.

And Miss Sophie with her new do!

My Dad was paid to go to beauty school, he would cut hair at his college for extra money.. I mean wouldn't you want this guy to cut your hair.... THANKS Dad, love you!

Winter Fun

The weather has been crazy this winter one day it's a warm 60 degrees and the next it's 19 degrees and raining for weeks! We have been getting creative around the house, and I am hoping it gets warmer fast I am in need of some serious sunshine! When its cold and gloomy, the kids would like to play on their electronics all day everday but their mean Mom limits them from the Ipod touches, Ipads, Wii, playstation, and Tv.

This is what happens when you are the baby in the family...

Eating snacks and making messes with your cousins. A messy house means you've been having fun right?
