St. Patty's Day!
Usually the night before St. Patty's Day we make a trap to catch Lucky the leprechaun but we were at the Hansens for dinner and Hunter and Brielle decided to sleep over.Amanda made them green eggs and crepes and later we had a green food picnic. TJ and Hunter had their first soccer practice and Brielle followed wanting so bad to help. Then to end the night we went to dinner and bowling! It was a blast the kids thought it was so much fun and were so cute! Brielle had this little Fred Flinstone dance and would clap and dance as her ball slowly and I mean slowly rolled down. Hunter was really good and I got a strike while holding Sophie on my hip, yes I am a better bowler while double tasking! Sophie loved clapping and squealing at all of us. When we got home the kids found chocolate gold coins on their pillows from Lucky since he missed them that morning. Hunter is getting too old and was telling me it was me who did it and said he saw the coins above the fridge the little stinker! Five years ago TJ and I had our first kiss and started dating so this holiday is always special for us! Here is the story, TJ and I were really good friends for about 8 months, he was such a major part of helping me through such a difficult time. We never though of each other as more than friends even though everyone would tease us all the time. I was hoping I would meet a hot friend through him and Im pretty sure he thought the same thing. My sister was down for spring break and watched Hunter so I could go out. Ashlee, Mandy and I convinced TJ to go to bowl n beer night but his friend bailed, Ashlee was the designated driver, since we both had few beers. When we dropped him off at home I went in to go to the bathroom, I gave him a hug goodnight and we just kissed I mean KISSED! I left and then the whole way home freaked out, he was my friend but wow! From that moment on we we inseparable, a few days later he invited me to his nieces birthday party, yep a family function! We have a joke at the Bentley house now that once you come for Kathy's cooking you never leave. I am so glad my best friend became my hubby and Hunter's dad, I don't know what we would do without him! It was meant to be and everyone who was there to witness this will agree! Three months later we were engaged and three months after that married!

Another day in paradise!
This week we have had a couple of crazy moments. I cleaned out my pantry, went out to throw away the trash and go back in to find Hunter cutting out all the box tops! I asked him what he was doing and he said "Mom you have a ton of box tops in here!" At their school which ever class collects the most gets an ice cream party. So a bunch of my boxes have small hole in them! Brielle had market day at her school this week and had so much fun buying treasures! She came home with two lipsticks, a pink one for her and a red one for me, two fruit snacks, a pencil and two goldfish! She names the bigger goldfish Nemo and the smaller silver fish Dora. Sophie loves eating what we are eating and one of her favorites is rice, only now she likes to only feed herself! Then yesterday TJ calls me from work and tells me since our T-ball team was the most requested he is now the Commissioner for our age bracket! Usually he does all his projects by himself but I knew once he came home with a huge stack of applicants and asked what Excel was I was in trouble! So we went through over 150 applicants and put them into teams of 10-12 and I put all the information in the computer. We were almost done when we saw a couple of kids in the wrong area! By then it was midnight and I was too tired and awnry to redo it all! So today while watching the kids play in the backyard I re-organized it all, I was so proud and my rosters looked great, so I called TJ to tell him and ask who I emailed them to when he tells me he has a few more last minute sign-ups! I was so mad, hopefully I can put them into teams without having to redo most of the teams! Crazy I tell ya and next week is Spring Break, three kids all day no break arggggggg!

Sophie Month 11
No way my baby is turning one in a month! I am so sad about this! She is a little whirlwind of trouble lately, she gets into everything and anything. Her new favorite thing is going out the doggie door to the backyard. Luckily we have block walls and gates so she can't go far. She is such a fast little thing, every time I turn around she is gone and into something! She caught her first bad cold and ear infection and it was so sad but she is doing much better but still has an awful cough and runny nose. She can stand for a few second on her own and is getting more daring while holding onto things. She got her first little goose-egg a few weeks ago she uses the doors and walls to stand up and was yelling for dada and banging on the door and TJ opened it and down she fell. It wouldn't have been bad but we have stained concrete floors so she had a nice little bruise. Most the time if you hold the phone up to her ear she will say Hi!

Roadrunners Baseball
The Baseball team had a opening season family night and we took advantage of a free dinner and chance to get out of the house! It was really windy and a bit chilly but the kids thought the Jazz Bear, Reggie and Saturn the roadrunners were cool. Brielle liked shakin her groove thang to the live band. We are excited for Baseball season to start!

Cagle Family Visits!
We were lucky enough to have Cole, Rachael, and lil Max visit us this past weekend. We enjoyed the great weather by going to the duck park and IN N OUT, playing in our backyard, walking around Dixie rock, and of course eating at Pizza Factory! Thanks for hanging out with our circus! Can't wait to see you soon, by the way to all, we are planning an adult only vacation to Vegas and then if possible going to the lake the rest of the week. If you want in on the fun let me know and I will give you the itinerary!

Viva Las Vegas!
This was a much need vacation for all of us and I didn't even realized it! We headed down to Vegas Wednesday afternoon for a quick get-away, TJ has been working his tail off making sure the restaurant is making money, and has been doing ten people's jobs on top of his own and doing extra side jobs too. We all need a change of scenery and some fun family time. We stayed at the MGM Grand and it was one of the best rooms I have stayed at I highly recommend it. After getting some pretty funny looks and comments about us and three kids in Vegas we settled in and then decided to walk the strip to see the shows and get some dinner. The kids were so excited about the Hotel and being together and kept saying it was the best day of their lives! While going back to the hotel there were a few nudy girl cards on the ground on the corners and we thought Hunter was too young to notice so we didn't say anything and just kept truckin. Well out of the blue Hunter said "Dad, I am only stepping on their heads!" We looked at each other and just laughed. Guess he isn't a little boy anymore! The first night Sophie got sick so I didn't get much sleep and in the middle of the night Brielle yells out Jellyfish! I busted up laughing she is always yelling in her sleep, usually at her brother. Thursday we had tickets to the Cubs vs White Soxs spring training game and had a blast eating yummy food and cheering on the Cubbies! We sat next to some fun Soxs fans so it was fun teasing each other. After the game we got ready for dinner and the Lance Burton Magic show. It was an amazing show and the kids really got a kick out of it! If anyone knows my kids they inherited a loud laugh just like their Mom, well throughout the show the Magician would say things like, "oh they thought that was funny," or "that was a hit." Towards the end of the show Lance went down the aisle and we were on the third row and asked for the fun little girl that kept laughing and the spotlight hit Brielle and he asked her to come with him, and she did! He brought her on stage and was asking her a ton of questions and she had the whole place laughing! Then said he needed to see her tag on her shirt and pulled out those long flags and kept pulling, well he was all the way across the stage when Brielle finally reached back and pulled it all out! Everyone was roaring! He gave her a video on how to do magic and the flags to keep and said not to saw her brother in half! I wish they would have let camera's in she was so cute. We ended the night saying goodnight to the lions like we did every night and headed to bed, Sophie rode on TJ's shoulders so Hunter and Brielle could ride in the stroller and she held onto TJ's ears the whole time! Guess those Bentley ears are good for something! lol! Friday we ate lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant Cozymels and headed home. We had so much fun together and the kids were great, Brielle and Sophie got sick but it was a really enjoyable cheap vacation, well except for the $14 M&M's dang choose your own colors station! Now is a great time to go to Vegas and there are a ton of free things to do for families, if you need any recommendations let me know I have a ton of info!
