Easter Fun!

We had such a fun Easter Weekend, our neighborhood has an annual breakfast and egg hunt so we started Saturday morning off with that! Brielle got the hang of it this year and when her basket was full she started filling up a younger little girls basket for her! It seemed like she was irritated the girl was just standing there in front of the eggs and not picking them up! Hunter is pro and loved running as fast as he could to find the eggs. I think he has a running tacktic in his head before the hunt starts! During the day we went swimming at TJ's parents and then had the traditional egg hunt, egg coloring, and BBQ. Hunter asked if he could color my belly since it looked like an egg! This year she also made a homemade egg pinata, Hunter ended up being the one to crack it. The kids had a blast all day and fell asleep on the short ride home! On Sunday we went to my parents and made TJ's famous scone breakfast and had another egg hunt. They also found the tub of ladybugs at Star nursery so we let some of them go in the backyard. The kids got a kick out of that! We also went to the hospital and visited with Great Grandma Bentley before going home and making rice krispy bunnies for our family and friends. Later that night we headed over to TJs parents for family dinner. We are exhausted from such a fun weekend!

Hunter had his Easter party at school and had a great time making his hat and basket for the egg hunt. Last week he started calling himself Hunter Bingo and today wrote it on the back of all his work! It's really funny because he is dead serious about his new name! He had a great time learning new Easter songs and making crafts.

Brielle went on her first airplane ride with Dad and Uncle Curt and had a blast. Curt has been doing some work in Arizona and decided to take them with him on a quick trip. It about an 1 1/2 hr flight there. The only complaint Brielle had was the load noises, other than that she loved it. We'll have to get her some earphones for next time.

Baby Sophie Update!

I had my first weekly appointment (WOW! I know getting closer!) I am still measuring two weeks behind, but she feels average in size so they are not concerned as long as she keeps growing. I was dilated to a 2, 50% effaced, and she is low he could feel her head. When Dr. Lunt was checking me he said "And you're really soft too." I said "thanks!" I don't know why I said it, it just came out! Well, my favorite nurse started cracking up and turned and said "no one has ever said well thanks when they were told they were soft!" I told her "When you want this baby out soft is a good thing right!" We all had a good laugh. I really enjoy my Dr. and most his staff luckily I almost every time get my favorites! I also had my Group B Strep test, and for those of you who have kids know its uncomfortable for a few seconds, glad that's over with! I should get the results next week.
