You want some water?

We have a parade of homes house next to ours and the kids have been dying to sell goodies all week, so Friday we set up on the corner next the house and they sold water, pop, chips, and cookies. I just sat there and let them do all the work and every once in awhile helped with change. I was laughing (on the inside of course) because they were hilarious! Brielle would go right up to peoples cars as they were getting in and ask them "Do you want some water?" "Oh I think you need some cookies!" and of course who can say no to her! Especially the older folk. Brielle helped for awhile but Hunter did most the work and is such a salesmen. People would ask for something and he would say "Coming right up!" "Are you sure you only want one?" and my favorite, "No, thank you!" They would get so tickled with every costumer that came their way. They did really well and still had some goodies left so Saturday they set up in front of our house since the corner was taken. They started at 11am and ended at 6pm! My friend Heather and I sat in my courtyard all day and would go and help them if they needed it. I kept asking if they wanted to close up shop and they would always say no, I finally made them when it started getting dark. They had to pay me back for all the supplies but they ended up making a $160 profit! I was so proud of them, they were very nice to costumers, and had fun. After they were done and we counted out the money, I talked to them about how hard they had to work and had to pay their bills (me) and when they grew up they would have to do whatever job they chose almost everyday, so they better chose something they really love to do. They had so many questions and were really excited about it. I was so proud of them for being out there so long and understanding the importance of treating people kindly. So thanks to all of you who stopped and supported our young entrepreneurs and thanks Heather for keeping me company all day while watching the kiddies. I got absolutely nothing done and my house is still messy and we all got some sunkissed checks but it was worth it.

Water Baby

Sophie loves anything to do with water, drinking it, swimming, baths and especially showers. TJ and Sophie were in our room playing and TJ decided to take a shower. He turned it on and then his phone rang, so I go in our room to get her and cannot find her, then I hear splashing. She was in there fully clothed even her coat was on! Every time she hears the shower turn on she crawls to where the person is showering to get in! She just sits and lets the water spray her and has found out if she sits on the drain it makes a big puddle for her to splash in. She is going to have a blast at the water park this summer!

Brielle cracks us up!

There is NEVER a dull moment with Brielle around, ever since she was a little girl she would just talk and talk, she comes up with some pretty interesting things to say. Today I picked her up from school and her teacher gives me her chapstick and said she had to take it away because she kept reapplying it. What preschooler does that!?! She is always sticking things in her pockets before going to school and most the time I have to check them while buckling her up. Then tonight after eating dinner and drinking her milk she wanted some of TJs milk. She gulps down most of it and TJ tells her she is going to grow up strong and big and she said "NO, I'm going to grow big boobs!" We were all laughing hysterically, she is such a funny girl!

Every year TJ and the other Pizza Factory owners go to the SYSCO food show in Vegas, he always brings home some fun samples. The kids get so excited to see what he gets!

Love Day

For Valentines we started the day out like we do every Valentines Day, with cupids scavenger hunt and pink heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes! Sophie even liked the hunt, she followed them around everywhere. TJ bought all the kids chocolate roses and gave me a gorgeous bouquet of real ones and a heart shaped cookie he made! Tj had to work all day poor thing it was really busy, I mean REALLY busy!! There is so much going on this weekend in town like the parade of homes, 2 different baseball and soccer tournaments, Presidents weekend, Valentines Day, and a few other things, so he worked all day and then had to serve at night and didn't get home until after 10pm. I want to let parents with teenagers in on a secret, tell them to tip well! Its so rude he had a bunch of kids all night and they didn't tip hardly at all! My family came over and gave us treats and then took the kids with them to a few of the homes in the parade. When they got home we delivered our Valentines Day treats to friends and family and then had a happy meal picnic before my parents took them for a sleepover. I got TJ some massage stuff and bath stuff so he could relax when he got home and put candles and rose petals everywhere. I guess it's girly but my hubby is kinda of! Ha ha ha jk honey love ya! But who wouldn't like to be pampered after a long day at work! So since this was my year to plan something I guess I got off easy!

Happy Valentines Day

Just wanted to give everyone some love, hope you have a fabulous day filled with love and happiness!

Sophie month 10

Last month was a HUGE month for Sophie, she learned how to crawl!!! Yeah!!! Well yeah for her not so much for me, lol. She started crawling a few weeks ago but really mastered it last week, this week she has discovered the rest of the house! She thinks it's hilarious finding new rooms and things to play with. Every once and awhile she will disappear and then you hear a giggle from a room and she has found something fun to play with. She is such a fun little girl, she has thrown a few tantrums if we take things away, mainly food and she loves Bella and even plays peek-a-boo with her if there is a blanket around. She loves this punching ball and can do it just as well as Hunter and Brielle, and has also learned how to pull herself up and cruise around furniture. I thought she would skip crawling since she cruised around first but once she finally figured it out there is no stopping her! We love her so much and adore her fun personality! She even thinks she is SO BIG! :)

Blog Books

Word of advice to all you planning to make books out of your blog... DONT USE SLIDESHOWS!!! It's a pain in the butt because they don't transfer and then you have to go in and add the pictures... ARGHHHHHH!!! Have a great day! PS. I use www.blurb.com (thanks Tawnya!)

Happy Birthday Grandpa Doug!

Today is my Dad's birthday, the big 52! We will celebrate this weekend but I wanted to list a few reasons why we love him! (Most of them are inside things)
*He has made me "tough like bull not weak like sheep"
*He has sacrificed so much to make our lives the best they can be.
*He taught me that "I'm so pretty and I'm so smart!"
*He is the strongest guy I know!
*He has the weirdest sense of humor that I find hilarious! And is one of the few people that can really make me really laugh.
*He was the father of two girls that danced and at all our competitions would be on the sidelines copying the moves and cheering us on!
*He is such a teacher, he repeats lessons over and over until they are embedded in your head.
*I am thankful he repeated those lessons because I wouldn't be where I am today!
*I secretly loved his sardine kisses when I was a little girl
*He taught us to catch rib breakers better than most boys.
*He knows diamonds are a girls best friend!
*He listens and becomes friends with everyone.
*He gave me his sweet tooth habit, temper, love for Halloween, red face, sweaty armpits, and obsession with my lawn. (except I don't have to have my lines perfectly straight!)
*His short green shorts, white shirts and a million tennis shoes that he waits to wear until his one pair is worn out completely.
*All the Wachcusto's adventures
*His weird music choices.
*I inherited my photography obsession from him and also will do anything for a good shot (waves almost killed us)!
*He has made the Utah vs BYU game a fun tradition and loves Dick Butkus.
*The kids think he is the greatest and coolest Grandpa in the world
*He is always learning new tricks!
*He can fall asleep anywhere!
*Because where ever we are, whatever we do, we will always be together!

Happy Groundhogs Day

Six more weeks of winter! But, if it's going to be like this I will take it, it's been so warm here. The kid's drew some pictures and tonight we will make some groundhog cupcakes! Happy Groundhogs Day!

Superbowl Sunday!

We are known to have parties all the time but I was hoping this year to go somewhere else so didn't plan anything (No, nothing is wrong with me!) Saturday TJ said his Dad was coming over since his Mom couldn't eat because of her surgery Monday and didn't want yummy food all around her, so he asked if he could invite some people. I told him everyone probably already had plans but go ahead (which I was right)! So his Dad came over and after half time his sister and her family. We were sad the Steelers won but at least it was a good game and I didn't really get a chance to see all the commercials because let's face it you can't with kids! My favorite was the Doritos and the career builder. The 3D was cool but I was so busy seeing if it was 3D I didn't catch what product they were endorsing! Thanks for coming over and keeping us company and if anyone wants some yummy food as usual TJ made enough to feed an army!
