Thanks Bills n Frills

My parents took us on this fun trip for dinner, fun events, whatever the case was the kids would say thank you and my Dad said thank Grandma, I'm the bills, she's the frills! So the rest of the trip the kids would say thanks bills, thanks frills! It was pretty funny! So thank you so very much for such a fun trip we had a blast! I am so glad I could get up and spend some time with my Sister and show the kids such a beautiful place. Thanks for your help I definitely could not have done it without you! I love you so much, we all love you! I am lucky to have such great parents that are the best grandparents ever! Can't wait until our next Wachcustow adventure! And that's the end of our fabulous trip! School starts in two weeks! yikes!

Lagoon

I took the kids to Lagoon for a break since we had driven over 2,000 miles already before heading home. We had a blast and it was perfect weather, when it got a little busy we swam and then left to get some dinner and pick up my parents. Hunter and Brielle loved the spook houses and bumper cars and rode those a billion times, which is funny because those were my favorites too! They were so cute running around together riding all the kiddie rides, and little miss Sophie rode Puff for the first time, she had this intense look on her face the whole time! She also loved the skyride. Hunter picked up a cute blonde girl and rode puff with her, oh does everyone remember riding the skyline looking for hotties lol! I lived at Lagoon every summer since I was a little girl! I have such fond memories there!

Jackson Hole

We stopped in Jackson to walk around and eat before heading home. I love this town, I was a little sad since this is where TJ and I went on our honeymoon five years ago in August! TJ couldn't get work off since it was a holiday weekend, we sure missed him!

Yellowstone

We stayed in Yellowstone overnight in cabins and had a blast in this gorgeous place. We saw Bison, Elk, a bear, and tons of critters. We even went an extra long way to take the kids to see Old Faithful!

Brielle loves Ryan and he packed her up the trail and as we were walking she shouts "We are in Love!" Such a silly girl!

Hunter missed his Dad so he wrote letters on a postcard saying He was having fun and missed him and he was the best Dad in the whole world!

Hanging out at Ashley and Ryan's and the park

Ashley's town Billings Montana

Ashley showed us around her school in Billings Montana and the kids had a blast acting like P.A. students! They even got to put a cast on Grandma and saw it off! Thanks for showing us around it was a ton of fun!

Celebrate Good Times....

Friday Heather had her interview and NAILED IT!!!! We are so proud of her! It has been a long road and I am so glad I had the chance to share it with her! It seems like everything is falling in place for her and Curt and we couldn't be happier!!! Since her family was in Mexico and Curt was on his brothers hike we had the privilege to celebrate with her by swimming and going to Pirate Pizza (don't tell TJs boss)!! We had a crazy time playing in the arcade and eating an okay dinner! :) Love ya Heather!

Jumpin Jacks

Today we had a special day with Halle, she just got a new brother a few days ago. We wanted her Mom to get some rest and time to snuggle Kade alone, and of course let Halle know she is loved and have some fun! Both Halle and Sophie are dare-devils and wanted to do everything the big kids did playing in the little kids area was too boring for these girls! I would hold Sophie on my hip and push up Halle to the top of the big slides over and over for almost three hours! Every once and awhile they would shut the lights off and the music and disco lights would go on, well the kids had some great moves everyone was impressed with our group! After we jumped we went to McDonald's and surprisingly they still wanted to play! All of them ate so well and I am sure will sleep good tonight, me too! :) Thanks for spending the afternoon with us Halle we love you so very much!

Busy weekend!

We had such a busy weekend and its still not completely over! Friday the kids and I went to our morning PTA movie it was Tale of Despereaux and really cute, almost all the kids ended up on the stairs by Grandma Kathy, we probably looked really funny. Then at night we went to the movie in the park with my parents and watched Casper. Saturday I took Hunter to the Lowe's build and grow program (completely free, you should try it!) He was so cute in his apron and little hammer, we had so much fun building his Treasure chest! Then we joined the girls and my parents and ate lunch at McDonald's before taking a much need nap. Before heading to the Roadrunners game later that night we had a short visit with our new Nephew/Cousin Kade, he was born Thursday morning and so cute, Hunter cannot wait to teach him all sorts of fun boy things and Brielle cannot wait to mother another baby! :) The game was one crazy night! TJ and Hunter did the Fathers and Sons baseball game at the top of the fourth inning. The tee was too high so Hunter didn't get a great hit and TJ almost made it over the fence, but Hunter still got a free kids meal at Red Robin! The kids chased the roadrunners as usual and ran around and towards the end of the game my Dad "caught" a ball for Hunter to get signed, he was in heaven! Brielle was so cute she got her hands signed and kept telling the players you spell my name B-r-i-e-l-l-e, and when they would sign their name would look at it and say "You spelled it wrong!" so funny! It was a long night but so much fun! We are headed there again tonight hopefully they win this time! :)

No training wheels for Brielle!

After weeks of begging TJ to take off her training wheels tonight he finally did and Brielle was off! We are so proud of her, GO BRIELLE GO! She was off on her first try and is getting the hang of turning, and stopping without putting her feet down! :) It makes me so sad to see my big girl ride off but so proud! Love you BB!

Oh those summer nights..

TJ and I went with Curt and Heather to dinner and a movie last night and saw The Proposal, it was hilarious we all loved it! We celebrated because Heather passed her test and is officially a NURSE!!! Woot Woot! We are so proud of her. When we got home we played catch with the kids and TJ turned on a sprinkler to water a dry spot. Sophie ripped off her diaper and played in the water and we might have a streaker on our hands she kept running between TJ and the kids when they threw the ball! I have a picture of all the kids on this motorcycle at this age its so sweet, maybe I will pull out the others and do a post! Hunter also lost another tooth! He was so excited about getting a dollar!

Boating at Sand Hollow

It was perfect weather for boating, it was the first time we had the boat out and we were successful in all our packing except for one minor detail, knives to cut our bagels for sandwiches, not bad though! Hunter and Diego had a blast on the tube and Dad! Look what TJ can do! :) The kids searched the beach for treasures all day and Sophie was in heaven sneaking chips and playing in the water, she even did a little body surfing! She also took a great nap as TJ skied around the lake. Brielle was extra safe in her lifejacket and floaties, she cracks us up! Can't wait for another boating day and next time we will stay longer!

Swimming/BBQ/Fireworks

The fourth of July is pretty much the same every year, just bigger and better it seems! We do our parade, swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Bentleys along with a BBQ, the city fireworks at the park, and then TJ's famous firework show. Such a fun day with family and friend, nothing better than cousins and popsicles and glow in the dark swards and bracelets! We had a great day, but we missed you Grandpa and Grandma Wach it wasn't the same without you! :)

Fourth July Neighborhood Parade!

Every year our neighborhood has a bike parade and potluck breakfast, the kids love decorating their bikes and racing down the street, that's right its not a slow moving parade its a race! This year we tried to get Sophie involved by having Brielle pull her in the wagon well, she loved playing with the beaded necklaces and cruising around but as soon as the parade started and kids went zooming by she started crying so I had to run down and grab her. Brielle as usual goes all the way to the end and then half way back stops ditches her bike and sits on the sidewalk. Then I have to push it to the breakfast while holding Sophie, silly girl. We love our neighborhood and appreciate everyone for all their hard work each holiday season, we all take turns hosting a holiday party and its such a fun tradition!

Roadrunners Game

We took the kids to another baseball game, Pizza Factory has box seats so since no one was using them we decided to! It's so nice because they have a misting system with fans, but it wasn't really hot it was great weather. As always what's a baseball game without treats! The kids love running around and chasing Reggie and we won! Woot Woot! It's the first game we have been to that they won!

Date Night Again!

TJ won tickets to see Annie at Tuachan so we had another date night! We went to Olive Garden and then stocked up on treats at All-a-dollar and headed to the show. After the first scene it started pouring rain, they told us if it didn't clear up in twenty minutes we would have to reschedule. Thankfully in lovely St. George it doesn't rain long and the show went on! I thought the show was good but I definitely liked Footloose better. As always we had a great time, thanks for winning us a free date night Monkey, love ya!

Flying

Curt invited us to come up and go flying in his plane, and the kids were in awe watching all the planes land and take off. We had a blast and I even got to fly which was a little nerve wracking! Brielle loved flying and kept giggling in the headset. Hunter on the other hand was nervous, he said it made his stomach ache and asked Curt if he had parachutes! We buzzed our house since TJ was home with Sophie and I seriously thought we were gonna land on the roof it felt so close! It was so pretty up there, we all had a blast, thanks again Curt you're the best!
